So, I'm curious as to why not use the Mastermind to do all the midi changes as it can be programed to do it all?

Is there a simpler way of way splitting the signal between the big sky and timeline? Like I don't have the pbc.

I see the PBC can run parallel, and you've chosen to do it. What is the benefit of running the Timeline and Big Sky in parallel instead of series?
@daviddawson96068 жыл бұрын
Great video guys. How do I setup my timeline and bigsky to run in parallel like that??? its sound unreal!!
@gottonedemos8 жыл бұрын
The PBC does it all. It splits the signal so you have a dry signal that is untouched and the 2 signals that run into timeline and bigsky are separate from the dry and from each other. Once the signal gets back to the PBC it sums the signals back together into one giving you the complete signal.
@daviddawson96068 жыл бұрын
Thanks bro..so there is no easy way? You need some sort of looper?

You may be able to do it if you had a buffered spliter then an RJM mini line mixer

What's the size of the flat board ?
@GoodwoodAudio8 жыл бұрын
From memory it's 31" x 19". If it isn't exactly that, it's very close.

Is the RJM the only switcher out today that will do parallel stereo fx?
@GoodwoodAudio8 жыл бұрын
PJ Jackson The Boss ES-8 does it too.
@anonymous_friend8 жыл бұрын
It looks like the Boss can only handle mono fx in parallel without additional gear. I could be wrong though. I also just came across the Musicom Lab EFX mk-V. This unit looks pretty promising. I'm still researching. Have you looked into it?
@Dsilverio38 жыл бұрын
Great video but not much explaining of how it switches to parallel and series and how it would sound with everything
@gottonedemos8 жыл бұрын
What are you looking to have explained in that right? The PBC handles the splitting and summing of the signals. That's all set in the programming of the PBC.

I'm confused about the power supply. I get how it works but where does he put the distributor and how does he power the interfacer and the rest of the isolators, etc. Also where does he put the isolators etc.?

Everything is hidden underneath the BigSky and Timeline.

which pedal is engaged that creates the skyscraper type overdrive at 21:27, the jhs bolt?
@Teleman016 жыл бұрын
So are you sending the mono pedals literally to the amp input...then using the EFX sends OF THE AMPS to come back and forth from the Timeline and Bigsky? Not really understanding how you patched that. Thanks

Hey, quick question! How/where is his volume pedal worked into the PBC? Does the PBC have an always on loop for the VP that you can pick where in the signal chain you want the VP to fall? I know it's pretty common practice to run the VP after your drives and before you delays/modulations, just curious where his is in the setup. Thank you!
@GoodwoodAudio8 жыл бұрын
There are two insert points. Between loops 4 and 5 and then between loops 6 and 7. We usually put a volume pedal between loops 6 and 7.
@altonsmith358 жыл бұрын
Goodwood Audio awesome, thanks so much.. One more quick question, how are you guys controlling the "red remote" function on the superbolt with the PBC?

You could do all this with an axe fx. I mean if you are a professional guitar player and you make your living doing this then don't settle for an axe fx. But for the weekend warrior, you could dial most of this in the axe fx in about an hour. Just saying.
