Ron you certainly have the most interesting diverse range of people to interview! I love the Unstress Podcast, as you know for so many reasons including the fascinating life journey each individual shares and Jeffrey Masson’s certainly is fascinating! What a dynamic man, obviously an inquisitive and wonderful communicative individual who is looking and sounding amazingly spriteful for 80... he obviously looks after himself well. I especially love his final quote of individuals being willing to explore and question everything... I notice a lot of generational carry over with this one in terms of not questioning the status quo and speaking up!

Freud buried his paper The Aetiology of Hysteria which presented that the source of many people’s problems to be childhood molestation, because he was shunned by his peers at the time. He realized he would not have a career if he didn’t. The sexual molestation was going on in prominent homes, maybe even in the homes of some of his peers who did not want to be exposed for their criminal behavior. I personally think Freud was a coward for doing this and wrought a plague on western society. Psychoanalysis is rotten at the core. Read Bessel van der Kolk’s The Body Keeps the Score if you are interested in resources to heal. Mr Masson I recently got your book The Assault on Truth after researching this topic. I can’t thank you enough for your bravery and conviction. You will help change the world because of your findings. Your life is a blessing to us all. I hope more people will hear about the truth you uncover in your book.

The reason Frued did not reveal it is because it goes to the heart of society. Its endemic in the highest levels of culture ,as is well known. They would have done to him and worse what they did to you. You got away very lightly. Many dont who reveal abuse..

All of the books Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson wrote up to and including 1993 are worthy, especially "The Assault on Truth", which I first read in 1996 and which I have read many times since. All of his other works from 1994 onwards are frivolous. It is odd that as a Jew he rejects the importance of Genesis 1:26 in his philosophy/worldview. I think I can explain the chronology of important shifts in his Belief System/Frame of Reference. I would enjoy hosting a multi-day discussion about the subject of "CSA and the Possibility of Healing" with the following panellists present: JMM, Lenore Terr, Jennifer Freyd, Vera Ray, Susie Orbach and Judith Lewis-Herman.

Frivolous because he writes about the humanity and emotions of animals? I think you must be the one who is truly frivolous, Adam.

I'm surprised someone who was ostracised for pushing back against orthodoxy is denigrating someone who questioned convid and 'climate change'.

Shame the host has such poor understanding of the subjects - this could have gone much deeper.
