Lepper actually screwed up dating because he did not start the coring of the mound at its base bill romain did a much better job also bill has a much better understanding of the hopewell culture as a whole and is a better archeologist than brad lepper

The SM effigy is not considered to be "Hopewellian" Hooker Dick they came along later and there is just a bit of evidence of their presence at this site (one small burial mound for sure) - but you got the rest right :)
