This video is packed with some seriously practical Gmail hacks. The tip about using Google Docs to design a polished email signature is such a game-changer. It’s simple, free, and avoids the clunky formatting issues that often come with trying to customize directly in Gmail. Adding hyperlinks and social media icons takes it to the next level for both professionalism and efficiency. The smart chips email draft in Google Docs is another standout feature. Being able to collaborate on email drafts with colleagues before sending is a productivity boost, especially for critical emails. It’s one of those tools you don’t realize you need until you start using it. I also loved the Brisken extension tip. Automating repetitive phrases and inserting dynamic elements like dates is such a clever way to save time, especially for those of us juggling lots of email communication. And combining it with cold email templates? That’s next-level efficiency. Finally, the etiquette tip about editing subject lines before forwarding emails is something I wish more people followed. It seems small, but adding context can save so much confusion and back-and-forth. Thanks for making these tips so actionable and easy to follow!

6:55 I am 100% not trying to come off as rude, but I just wanted to offer a correction. "\" is called "backslash". The forward slash is "/". The only way I can remember the difference is that starting from the bottom, the backslash goes backwards and forward slash goes forward. If I want to double-check, I can look at a URL and compare to a file location on my computer. URLs use the forward slash (I think of this as going forward beyond my local computer location) and directories use the backslash (I think of this as going back/deeper into my computer). If you find this to be too pedantic, please disregard as that was not my intention. Thank you for your videos. Your inbox zero video was especially helpful to me. My email inbox was a dumpster fire before you helped me.

HeyJeff! I love all your videos, sooooooooo helpful! Quick question though: Is there a way to automatically jump to the most recent message when opening an email thread? In long email chains, I always have to scroll down forever to see the latest reply, and it's making me go a little crazy haha!

Love snoozing emails. I snoozed one this morning that was some movie tickets I ordered online to arrive back in my inbox the day I'm actually going to go to the movies.
