Hey man I’m sure a bunch of people have already said what I’m about to say but talking down on yourself or comparing to “how you were” last year or anyone in general is the thief of joy and happiness. What you’re doing and have done is impressive. You’re one of the top 3% of riders who HAS qualified. And you’re still in the top 3% of rider who are even able to or have the ability to even try and qualify. Most people and myself included can only dream of even being in the same spot you are. Good riding brother. Keep you head up, and stay hungry, humble and focused and most importantly stay positive!

Look first off , Its Motocross and secondly you are honest to yourself and that gets my respect , I shattered my wrist at Pax Traxx and three hour surgery and two months later with a ton of hard work i came back faster than i was before a silly mistake of casing a whoop on my sight lap and went over the bars and my bike landed on my arm . Could not believe it happened but the moral of my quick story is set backs make you take a deeper look at yourself and sounds like you have a great head on your shoulders a Kuddos to You for getting back after it. Pleasure watching your blog and what its really like . Not many people really get it unless you get it. KEEP RIPPING ..Sincerely

I’m glad you finished your vid like that. I was gonna put a massive comment summing that up. You’re a top 20 rider, screw your head on right and slay it tomorrow. Also by the sound of your bike vs what the cam shows really proves the deep and slickness of the track. You did not look like you were going anywhere in a lot of parts. Out of curiosity, why don’t you race more? This past year I understand - you were hurt. But before that. I see a lot of other aspiring top pros traveling within a 5-6 hour radius as often as possible to hit bigger regional races during the offseason. I obviously don’t know pro motocross as well as you, but I do know racing, and I feel like racing as much as you can is better for a race program than turning practice laps on a track. It’s a mindset thing. You clearly have speed, so it seems like real time gate drops would be even better. Plus, we would thoroughly enjoy the content!

Maybe if you done longer motos on rougher tracks and actually got some gate drops in at least a couple times leading up to nationals you would be more prepared and make some money too instead of asking for handouts or selling expensive ah stickers. Field is more stacked this year with hard working riders. 14 secs a lap off Jett is not going to get it done
@JimG19644 ай бұрын
You'll get there. Maybe some build up races might have helped? Track looks tough for a first race back. Your riding was improving - turn the page. Speed is in there somewhere and best of luck in Hangtown!!!

Start your own series. Two stroke Pro Nationals.. sign ups have to have pro license and have to race every race, have sponsors with big purse only for the final standings, and tracks across the country, have lots of media marketing, interview riders to build personalities. Enough fans attend pro nationals to fund another pro series.

Crazy how Jeff thinks hes a bad rider but in reality hes better than 99.9% of people in the entire world. You are your own harshest critic and likewise your own biggest fan. Remember where you came from and put into perspective just how good you are compared to the masses. I paused the video after your first hot lap. To me, I got the impression you were really tight. It seemed like you were trying to force going fast which made lots of mistakes and being choppy. I think maybe with all of the stress, setbacks and the expectations (which I think you put on yourself btw. I think well over 90% of your viewers just love you and your videos regardless of how you place.) I think you just need to relax bud! We all know you are good and fast! I think if you can find a way to relieve some of that tension, stress, and built up frustrations from your off season, I think you will bounce back and start placing again.

It is NOT your riding at all. I am a Cali Guy and it is/was your Suspension set up for that dirt. Your rebound was so freaking loose and quick for that slick track. Especially the far right part of the track that they normally don't run during the week where the dirt was lighter in color and it wasn't ripped deep and was more hard. You through that part of the track gave me anxiety. It was scary to watch how fast your suspension was rebounding in parts on that slick soil with the fine dirt on top, it literally was like riding on a Mirror with Baby Power sprinkled all over it, and your bike needs to be squatting and planted to the ground and your bike is hoping around. I would of been scared to death. Hangtown (my local track) will be way worse then that. Way more slick. Way more dried out, Way more slippery with a silt/fine powder on top to the soil. You have to get your Suspension dialed in by tomorrow, or Hangtown is going to be rough.
