Facebook, X or any other. My life is my business and I have no interest in anyone else's. My generation has a saying, we don't miss what we never had.

Just got back from a Spanish 1-day Assembly where 3 really young Children (ages weren't given), appearing to be younger than 10, got baptized. The disgusting look on my face was so pronounced that my Husband gave me the evil-eye look. I always said that the bible should only consist of the four accounts of Jesus and maybe not all four at that. Perhaps just one would suffice. The entire "old testament" and everything forward starting with the book of acts should be discarded. As to social media- I have a Facebook profile and a KZbin account plus a desktop computer. What I don't have is a cell phone like most have. I have a trakfone that only gets turned on when I leave the house. I am after all a retired senior and I do not see the need to be in 24/7 contact via social media. I am not at all religious or a believer but here is a question for you Stacy- If you wanted to select any one of the four accounts of Jesus and eliminate everything else which one of the four would you select?

@@survivingparadisepodcast I agree with John being the one book that matters. If one is going to believe and choose to be a Christian that one book is all that is needed. Everything from the book of Acts right through Revelation just tarnishes and muddies up the ministry of Jesus as it was written in the book of John. Unfortunately I am no longer a believer and I use the term unfortunate because this means I have zero faith. At least my sister who is still in the cult has faith or I hope she does. As much as I know about and feel towards the cult I would never want to rip her faith away from her. Some call religious faith the opium that glosses over the reality of our mortality. I wish I had faith. Faith is something you cannot buy nor can someone inculcate or teach it. If I were to try and build up a sense of faith in something I would choose Native American spirituality. That at least discounts the entire black book that in many ways has caused misery.
