Hey , I can never forget what 🇦🇺govt , in my city did to Novak . Blatant abuse of human so I say , to even return here is a big feat and I see hatred on Twitter , I have been victim of bullying , I am different , I respect all , I have always and the fiiasco last year broke my heart , set me on fire 🔥 also . Andy Murray is still in it also . No one should demean another on social media or at all. . Soi concur with you . Let’s all be kind during this Covid chaos ! 😊

Back in 2001 Jelena Dokić was the reason why I started watching tennis. At that time she was the only one played for Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro became in 2003). Later we got Ana Ivanović, Jelena Janković, Nenad Zimonjić, Janko Tipsarević, Viktor Troicki... Novak remains our hero over 15 years. Couldn't be more proud and happy to see my two favorite players on the court here.

In early 2000’s Jelena represented Serbia & Montenegro, its because of her matches that we got to watch tennis broadcasts live on tv and engage in game in our country and I believe Novak when he says that he looked up to her because she was all we had. After her we got many talented players and GS champions but everyone remembers Jelena very well. I dont think she is aware of what she did for tennis in our country, and this exchange between her and Novak is very touching

Jelena Dokic played for Serbia when she was in her prime. She was the first top 10 (even top 5) player from Serbia after Monika Seles and was a role model for next generation of Serbian players who really made it big - Ana Ivanovic, Jelena Jankovic and of course Novak Djokovic. Unfortunately she had bad relationship with her father-coach and a lot of psychological problems.

@@quentincrisp6933 Monika Seles won most of her trophies (8 out of 9 GS) while playing for a country called Yugoslavia that was de facto just Serbia and Montenegro. And she played in the hardest times possible while Yugoslavia was under heavy sanctions. In fact she was the only sportperson who could represent that country in 1991-1995 period. So yeah, she was a major role model for young people in that country. I don't know what the fact that she comes from ethnic Hungarian familiy has to do with anything. Serbia has a lot of ethnic minorities. By that logic Americans, Australians, Canadians etc. don't even exist since they are originally all "ethnically" something else.

As a usual every single word of this guy is full of meaning. This is the different between a good player and a champion of life.👏👏👏👏

@@simodelafrog3690 He is Serbian - as is Kosovo! Most of the largest countries in the world still don't recognise it as a separate state from Serbia (India, Brazil, China, Russia, Palestine, Cyprus, Romania, Greece, Spain, Morocco, Iran, Philippines & Slovakia), just to name a few. The 900 year old Serbian Orthodox churches in Kosovo (which the shiptars tried to destroy) are evidence which proves this. The Shiptars are Albanians who crossed the border over the mountains & settled in Kosovo. They were having 10-12 children whilst the Serbians were only birthing 1 or 2. Within 20 years they outnumbered the Serbs. This is nothing more than Albania trying to take a piece of Serbia.

OMG, she has changed a lot, I still remember she played for Australia the time only 13years old if I am not wrong. Very unfortunate such a talented tennis star... I never thought was anything wrong but different culture back ground and misunderstood. It's nice to see her again any way.

Nole is the guy who humbled the greats like Roger and Rafa in their prime. And he is the only one left from the big 4 who is humbling the future generations as well. He is for sure right amongst the greatest of all times.
