I actually learned the word "defenestration" at school, because we talked about the defenestrations of Prague. I wasn't interested in the topic, but the word stuck because obviously, it's funny as hell that "throwing someone out of a window" has its own word. :D

You can really see and hear Jello's tastes and distastes in design in these. He's not wrong in calling a lot of them ugly, but I like pretty much every fusion used by a trainer in this. They're such different ideas that you never really know what to expect. Sometimes that backfires though, like when a really good artist only makes the first evo fusion, and the rest are handled by either nobody or a newbie with radically different ideas.

Believe it or not. Dogs in love is a pokemon fusion between Espeon and Umbreon. I know it isn't useful for your bug type run, but it's something I found really cute

Cool looking bug fusions with decent stats: ~Galvantula with Ninjask to make Galvaask is also a really cool fusion and has pretty good stats. It really gets balanced and fairly high attack and special attack with high speed, but it does also gain a 4x weakness to rock. ~Venomoth with Ninjask to make Venoask looks okay and has pretty decent stats as well. I prefer the sprite for Ninjmoth, but the stats are just a huge downgrade by comparison, so it isn't worthwhile. Venoask ends up with quite good attack and acceptable special attack with suitably high speed, though it does gain a 4x weakness to rock, so you gain a compromise to get those good stats, I guess. ~Forretress with Yanmega to make Yanmtress looks insane and ends up with some pretty beastly stats for a bug type. It does end up with a 4x weakness to fire, but also manages to lose every one of the 2x weaknesses it used to have, so I think it's a worthwhile tradeoff. ~Volcarona with Ariados to make Volcados has a really cool custom sprite and the stats and weaknesses are overall pretty decent, but it's definitely not going to win many speed battles because it is slow. It is also disappointing the Volcados maintains the same bug/poison typing, since that's very common and very boring. ~Volcarona with Ninjask to make Volcaask gets some impressive special attack and speed, with passable health and attack. It's just not very beefy, so it's a good thing it's fast. Feed it a bunch of TMs for high damage special attack moves and rely on the speed battle while hoping your opponent doesn't have higher priority attacks that you're weak to. ~Volcarona with Heracross to make Volcaross has a really cool alternate custom sprite from rtscrimmy and the stats are actually good, but the 4x weakness to flying is pretty terrible, since there are just so many pokemon that get flying type moves. ~Volcarona with Scolipede to make a Volcapede has both a pretty neat autogen sprite as well as two cool custom sprites. The stats are well rounded and overall are quite high without any 4x weaknesses. Honorable mentions for Ariados fusions that look cool as hell but don't fall under the constraints for this run: ~Omados ~Ardos ~Spiridos ~Dusdos and Duskdos ~Zorodos ~Rodos ~Cofagdos ~Jidos Shoutout to Scolipede. Apparently people fucking love this guy and there are loads of awesome looking custom sprites available for him, most of which aren't viable for this run, but it's worth looking over the different combinations because these artists are very talented. There's quite a few that really understood the mission objective and created some biblically accurate Scolipede fusions and I am here for the gorey horror of it all. Pinpede is a good example. Also, both Scoliinja and Shedpede have awesome custom sprites, but it's a shame that their stats just aren't very good. Shedpede is definitely one of the cooler sprites I've seen despite the apparent simplicity of the sprite. Xenellia did a great job on it and their other custom sprites are also exceptional.

Moths are a go to solid bug Dragonflies are my first love however because they are everywhere in my area Potato bugs (Rollie pollies, pill bugs, those guys) always loved those. Had one named Wallace as a kid and kept it in a gum container with leaves, I had to hide it from my mom because she would have made me bring it outside I appreciate spiders, which makes me the resident bug rehabilitator in our household (even though they tell me to kill them I refuse) Ants are fun, seen them more as a kid, just a solid bug I enjoy beetles but it’s hard to pick a favourite cuz they come in so many different colours shapes and sizes, like I really enjoy the chrome looking ones And I’m not opposed to flies as long as they done bite me. Like I’ll see one flying and follow it around the room with my eyes

More often than not though it's useless. One non-attack damage (poison, burn, confusion, spikes, weather, etc) and it's dead, and those are not rare.

Volcarona's BST is 550, it's not that crazy. Deffo not legendary or pseuo level stats. For reference, Centiskorch is 525, which is weirdly high for an earlygame bug, and a lot of others sit around 500. I respect the decision not the use it, just figured I'd look into it a bit.
