A long anime like Naruto/OnePiece/Bleach ending isn't such a big deal, since they've run so many episodes they've done it all and you've almost forgotten the details of what happened so you can just start rewatching it and be nostalgic about it. I mean 100 episodes is about 2 years. Which is about the time it takes before I start rewatching short anime. So everything from 100+ episodes back is available. Short anime that leave you hanging though - they're the worst. Spice and Wolf, Angel Beats, Air Gear, gotta go read the manga if there is any to find out what happened...
