I met him in 2023 by waiting outside of a bathroom stall. The second he walked out of the bathroom stall I immediately shook his hand and asked him his diet. Because while I was waiting, I recognized the rare moment. So I took a peek in the toilet bowl while he was washing his hands. What I saw was beautiful, they were these giant football-sized logs sitting compactly in the toilet bowl. While I was in the bathroom I could hear him tic tacking on my board while I was shitting. When I got out the bathroom I saw him do a clean ollie nose manual up a curb first try. Most likely first try because of the fresh healthy weight dropped in toilet bowl. I'm still trying to figure out the symbolism of him not flushing and of the situation as a whole.

I am also a skateboarder and used to work as a neuroscientist. Huberman way oversteps his knowledge base with his claims and recommendations. A lot of what he says has zero basis in researched phenomena, which wouldn’t be so terrible except he presents himself as an authority. I guess a lot of people out there (not skateboarders 🤙🏻) feel better when they are told what to think. There is nothing revolutionary about exercising regularly, meditating, eating fruits and vegetables, and getting enough sleep. Of course everyone loves a sauna and a cold plunge. Duh. Sorry I love Jenkem but these tech/health bros need to stop acting like they unlocked some mythical key to human performance.

@@bigdawg_OG His affinity for ashwaganda would be one example. If someone is going to take it, they should get the guidance of an Ayurvedic practitioner, because it’s not suited for all body types and personalities. That’s one example. He also subtly implies authority where he really has none. He does this in all sorts of interviews. In other professional fields playing this loose and fast lands people in super hot water, including legal sanctions. There is also some interesting articles out there on his romantic relationships. They paint the picture that he is a fairly manipulative and duplicitous dude.
