My favorite episode/special is Imagination Land.
@waterbeauty85 Жыл бұрын
"Raisins" is one of my favorites mostly because of the beautiful speech Butters gives at the end. Other favorites are "Butters Bottom Bitch" for the South Park's most twisted detective and most innocent pimp, "Asspen" because it makes me nostalgic fr several 80's movie genres, "The Poor Kid" for some of Kenny's best quotes, "Butterballs" for its commentary on bullying and egotism and one of South Park's catchiest songs, "Going Native" especially now because of its references to the "Star Trek" episode "Amok Time" which you reacted to, "Cartman Sucks" for its comment on conversion therapy and a fine example of Cartman shooting himself in the foot, "Kenny Dies" because it so perfectly imitates the tropes of tearjerker movies that it has made some forget that it's a comedy and actually cry. Okay, I'm just going to list a few others without explanation because otherwise I would go on forever. "Woodland Critter Christmas," the "Imaginationland" trilogy. the Black Friday trilogy "Cartmanland," "Breast Cancer Show Ever," "Death Camp of Tolerance," "Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset," "Bass to Mouth." This is too long. I should stop.

This is almost just as pointless though... 😕 I'm not saying that Jen should necessarily start at season 1, episode1, and then watch the rest of season 1, but diving in at season 5 is almost just as bad. She seemed kinda confused by what was going on around in the world of South Park, and didn't understand the characters or the context. Sometimes you have to crawl before you can walk. Instead, everyone here sent her off running.... 🥴

The Butters episode is based on a real life story. In 1994, a woman named Susan Smith took her two sons, one was 3 years old, and the other one was 14-months-old, down to a lake late at night, got out of the car, and stood there and watched it sink into the water where they drowned. She then came home, and told her husband, the police and the media, that she had been carjacked by a black man who kidnapped her children. She went on the news every day for about a week and a half, begging and pleading for her children to be released. Eventually, the police noticed a bunch of holes in her story, and then she finally confessed to what she had done.

I was a senior in high school when “Scott Tenorman” originally aired. I missed it the first night and a good friend basically spoiled the entire episode for me and gave me a rundown of all the major plot points in class the next day. I simply did NOT believe her. I honestly thought she was f-ing with me. Even with how outrageous the show had been up until that point I couldn’t believe that they would write an episode where Cartman orchestrates the death of two people and then tricks their son into eating them. Then I saw the episode for myself and the rest is as they say, history. 😆

The theme song was by the band Primus, a trio whose most famous songs are "Jerry Was a Race Car Driver", "Tommy the Cat", "My Name is Mud" and "Wynonna's Big Brown Beaver" (which has a really weird video). The song they wrote/recorded for South Park was deemed too slow, so the recording was sped up for the opening theme. The original can be heard in the end credits.

Except volume to some degree, these do not work. Transparency works if the blend is very chaotic and detailed but 99% of the time it doesn't. Flipping is already covered by the ContentAI bot, it checks all directions, variations and distortions, including chroma key filtering and negatives. Distorting works to some degree, but it has to be so much it's nearly unwatchable. The bot first goes to hit on video content, so the audio is only relevant for copyrighted music. A safe bet is to just never play any music, boring though it be.
