It must be hard enough just to get a musical reaction uploaded, factor in 399 swear words, 199 offensive gestures and 221 acts of violence, and you’ve got a full time job 😂 Really well done on the editing to still keep all the plot points. Matt and Trey worked so hard to get this down to an R rating in the US. The MPAA kept on giving it an NC17 certificate due to the profanity, which Matt and Trey knew would not make the film viable at the box office. Hence, the line near the end of the film about the MPAA saying violence is ok as long as nobody swears. Brian Boitano one of the few people to be portrayed favourably. He brought out a TV cooking show called “what would Brian Boitano make”.

One of the greatest musicals ever produced, and none other than Steven Sondheim agrees. He wrote a letter to Matt Stone & Trey Parker praising them for this movie upon its release, calling it the funniest and most original score he'd seen in years. Matt Parker said that the letter was a more important bit of praise than all the Oscars in the world. They also, jokingly, wrote back saying, "We think you've done a few good ones too." Edit: Also, good catch on George Clooney as the doctor. Other voices you may have missed are Brent Spiner playing Conan O'Brien, Dave Foley as all of the Baldwins, and Metallica vocalist James Hetfield singing the song "Hell Isn't Good" as Kenny descends into Hell. The original title of the movie was South Park: All Hell Breaks Loose, but the MPAA objected to the use of "hell" in the title, so they changed it to a penis joke that went over their heads until it was too late to change.

It won a ton of Tonys and other theatrical awards when it opened. It also launched the career of Josh Gad (the voice of Olaf in the 'Frozen' franchise). Lopez is an EGOT, having won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony...he wrote the music for the stage musical 'Avenue Q' (which is like Sesame Street on a bender), and the Disney films 'Frozen' 1 & 2, and 'Coco'.

So a few fun things. 1 is that the MPAA had a problem with Trey and Matt wanting to name this film all hell breaks loose, so being who they are, they said f*ck you in the most creative way, by naming it Bigger Longer and uncut. The MPAA didn't have any issue with the new title until two weeks before release and then they got the joke but at that point it's two weeks from release they couldn't change the name. Because the MPAA was frequently breathing down their neck they ended up having to change the lyrics of a song that they were writing because the title of that song is one of George Carlin seven dirty words you can't say on television (motherf*cker). The result is the one that ended up in the film song by Terrance and Phillip which is arguably much better than the previous title of that song. At this point in the series there were two running gags one-month the constant killing of Kenny the other was every time Stan went to go talk to Wendy he would throw up on her. Blame Canada actually got nominated for an oscar but lost to Phil Collins because that was the year that the film Tarzan came out. In the years since this movie came out Matt and Trey are now Tony award-winning artists for their Musical The Book of Mormon. One of the Great Moments of this film is when Cartman goes Super Saiyan at Kyle's behest once he realizes what he can do with the v-chip

MVP Jen and the team, for getting this on KZbin! It’s aboot time someone reacted to it, and I hope it stays up & monetised 😁 Also MVP = Brian Boitano. Always ask “WWBBD?” and you won’t go far wrong! I think it’s safe to say, without any fear of contradiction, that South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut is the greatest musical in history. I remember when it was coming out, the general vibe was that it would be a crude cash grab, riding on the tails of a “hot-right-now” TV show… and then the critics discovered that Trey Parker & Matt Stone had pre-empted anything negative they could say by addressing it directly in the film! Not only that, but they made some really smart comments on censorship and stuff and provided a genuinely great movie! The only bad thing was that the movie got nominated for an Oscar (best original song for Blame Canada), but lost out to Phil Collins and the song he did for Hercules. South Park had the last laugh, though, as it was free to rip into Collins throughout the third season. And they did. It was glorious. Blame Canada!

The music in this IS outstanding. While I don’t believe this itself is a broadway play, the writers of South spark also wrote Book of Mormon which is a broadway musical! I highly recommend it!

The tv show did an episode on the origins of the Mormon religion. #MagicRock

I saw this in the theater on opening night. There were parents escorting children out of the theater rapidly during the Uncle F---er song. It was absolutely hilarious!!! 😂😂😂

The doctor was Clooney. He was an early supproter of the show. Minnie Driver voiced Brooke Shields and Brent Spiner (Data from Star Trek) did Conan O'Brien. Kenny was also voiced by Mike Judge (Beavis and Butthead. Office Space, Idoicracy)

One of the best movie going experiences I had was seeing this one about a week after it came out. Many in the audience had apparently already seen it a number of times, as it became a sing-along, especially with Kyle's Mom...
