I think the opening guy is saying things like "we won't abandon you" and things like that because of that documentary that came out on LulaRoe. I think that sort of opened a lot of people's eyes to MLM and the scam that it is. In LulaRoe's case, people were not getting their refunds for faulty product and being totally left in the dark by the owners. I think he's trying to reassure people that they're different and they'd never do anything like that. Also, I love how he adjusts it at some point to say "we will never *voluntarily* abandon you". What a strange thing to say.

They add "voluntary" so that when they abandon any of their reps, they can switch the blame into something else, "We didn't want to abandon you, but we HAD to". The blame will more likely be put on the rep themselves.

I’m a parent. I tell my kids once in awhile that I love the person they are becoming to acknowledge change or growth in them, but it seems weird to say that every day since you really don’t see growth in one day. Good job shining the light on Jenna’s cringe and doTerra’s awfulness.

Have you noticed that motivational speakers, in MLMs and everywhere else, tell you what you did and how you felt. They don't even ask, they tell you like "you achieved your goal, and you didn't feel satisfied, so you set another one", uh, no? Why do you pretend to know about my experiences? It bothers me so much. It also feels manipulative, what if the person didn't feel or even did what they mentioned, but after listening to it, the person will do some mental gymnastics to place themselve in the place the motivational speaker is talking about. Idk it feels really uncomfortable to me when people try to teach me about my own life when they don't even know me lol.

So we have Jenna with word salad and then the guy that you played after her sounding like a cult/church leader with the hyperbolic language that he is using. Love when he is talking about the consistency of the product, you would hope to have that from any product that you use on a regular basis. Wow I looked up MetaPWR, in general it is a 30 minute workout program (seems to be a trend at the moment with how many different gyms seem to offer it).
