I knoooow, I don't know how they feel about human children (and I hope it goes without saying that I would respect any decision they make) but this is kind of making me hope they'd consider fostering kids too. Obviously that wouldn't be an option if they are filming (the children, and their families, deserve privacy) but I think they'd be amazing at it. i think the biggest indicator of the type of dog owners that jenna and julien are is when jenna says that she was starting to show some toy aggression/guarding "which is fine, she'll just need some training." they are such patient and forgiving and responsible dog owners and its honestly such a breath of fresh air to see from anyone, let alone influencers.

could be. Also, dogs see at a different framerate than humans, and it is not a close multiple. That means that screens can look like crazy blinking things to them. It depends on the screen. It is possible that their computer monitors are easier for her to look at, versus a TV or an older computer.

Coming back to this video a week after I adopted my own very timid dog was honestly very affirming. For my girl, so much of her personality has already come out, but there's still a lot that she's uncomfortable with. She's still scared of my older dog, and I've had to work with my older dog to better co-exist with her. It's been hard, and some days I wonder if I made the best decision. But everyday she shows me that she's willing to put her trust in me and is becoming more comfortable in this new space, makes it all worth while.
