@@GemmaW-l4qI'd get around that by making myself a rule that I can't start the next colour without weaving in an end... Although actually when I made crochet hats I trimmed the ends short and made a very multicoloured hat where the ends stick out like little bobbles 😂 I actually loved how it looked so much that I made a whole bunch and sold a few!

Jenna, I am a 49 year old women living thousands of miles away, but I find your attitude and creativity such an inspiration. I stumbled across your channel by pure chance, I am sure glad I did. I used to try to be so meticulous and perfect whilst crocheting and knitting, that i would rarely get a project completed. Now your "can do" and "Bob's your uncle" attitude, have given me the impetus to be more productive and trust myself more and just go with it. Your free hand vest is so cute, I love it. Love your bright happy personality and sense of humour. Cheers from Ireland.

For my on-the-go knitting, I have a fanny pack and keep a vanilla or vanilla-aligned sock in there at all times on either a 9 in circular or magic loop with a 50g cake. It’s so easy to walk around with and take on the bus or train or wherever, and you don’t have to worry about losing it. It gets done when it gets donw

As a fan of regular Bernat Softee, who has been trying to only stick with natural fibers and natural fiber blends for the past few years, I will definitely be buying some Bernat Softee Cotton this week! Also, If you want to exercise and crochet at the same time, I have found that a recumbent bike is perfect for that. You are sitting, so you don’t get dizzy or crash into anything, but you are still getting a lot of cardio and leg exercise.

6:33 This reminded me something my grandma told me a while ago. She said that cats and dogs usually eat grass or plants when they feel sick. As they can't tell their parents/people that care of them when they´re sick, they find an easy way to get whatever is making them feel bad, and that's throwing up. So it might be something to think about if your dog or cat is eating a plant/grass and you feel they might be a little down or sad/different. Hope you get what I mean, I tried my best to explain myself in english (not my first language +I'm still learning) 💜

The great thing about freehand crochet is that, for each patch, you can use any yarn you want, any hook you want, any stitch you want, and the piece can have any shape amd dimensions you want. You can stop at any time and decide that "this patch is finished!" And then, once you decide you have enough patches, you get to assemble it like a puzzle!

I have a tip for avoiding weaving in ends! Have you heard of the “Russian join” ? Seriously a game changer for me! Idk if it works for every situation, but now whenever I’m changing colors, especially freehand/freeform crochet, I like to do the Russian join as I go and then there’s basically no ends to weave in at the end!
