Omega Seamaster Diver 300m
The current seamaster comes with an increased size, making this one measure 42mm in diameter, with a lug to lug of 49mm and a height of 13,5mm, therefore making it bigger than previous models.
The entire case is made from stainless steel and alternates between a polished or brushed finishing on its surface.
The matte black rubber strap is very durable and - to my surprise - does not show scratches as quickly as I thought it would. The strap itself closes with a regular pin buckle which works just fine.
On the right side of the case sits the crown tightly in-between the crownguards which adds to the 300m water resistance of the case. Right above 10 o clock we also have a helium escape valve, which has been slightly improved and is now only usable when being underwater.
The bezel on this Seamaster 300m has the same ceramic inlay as its previous models but this time the Markers on the bezel are no longer engraved but enameled, making the bezel not only look super glossy but also feel almost completely even.
The dial is made from Zirconium Dioxide making it look very shiny, almost mirror like with some laser engraved waves that honor the design of the very first Seamaster.
The hour markers are perfect circles and sticks, each filled with bright white superluminova, framed by a thin black border
The hands are also similar to the hands on the previous models but, they are also skeletonized with superlumionva applied to it but the they have a way more intense acute angle towards to middle. The hour markers light up in an ice bon bon blue while the hands and the little pearl on the bezel glow in a bright green, making this watch super easy to read in the dark.
The date that has been placed at 6 instead of 3 o clock like we had on the previous models.
Built in is the omega in-house calibre 8800 which is METAS as well as COSC certified.
Thank you for watching, I hope you enjoyed my review of the Seamaster Diver 300m!
