We're in Arizona we hang our towels outside. They're dry in 20 minutes! I had a Yard Machines mower in Texas and it had the Briggs and Stratton V twin. Awesome engine, lots of power and easy to maintain. I adjusted the valves once a year along with other maintenance. I have heard that Kohler engibes are unreliable but I don't know as ive never owned one. I think the noise is valve noise. Great story ideas. I've been watching you for a very long time. Take care.

As a senior who works a few hours a week pushing carts at a big box store I see the people struggling in a completely different light than I did in my previous life as hotel security overnight. When I see the street people druggies etc mixed in the general population as opposed to a lot of times one on one in the middle of the night you can see in their eyes in their body language a different person. Having struggled a bit in my own life although not to that level it all comes clearer. We really need love.

Some of these single cylinder Kohlers had tremendous issues with the compression release on the camshaft. I had one and put a new cam in it once or twice every single mowing season, Tried OEM, aftermarket, they all broke before we could get a whole mowing season done, Eventually upgraded to a v-twin and never looked back. I've heard some of the super early ones did not have the cast pot-metal compression release but rather had a small blob on the cam lobe that was enough to release compression to get the starter to spin it over, but not enough that it would affect the performance much. I suspect that would be noisier than the spring loaded one, as it would be blipping a valve open during the compression stroke while the engine is running, but it also wouldn't break off every 50-ish hours of use and require half the engine to come apart. Your compression release is certainly working, as it spins over very easily in the last video on the mower. Hopefully it's nothing serious and just needs a valve adjustment or something.

From the damage to the original pullys on the deck the previous owner hit something like q stump or big stone. That could have caused the the engine crank shaft to get bent. From the look of the gap between flywheel and the cow not being symmetrical it looks to be that's what happened. Easiest way to confirm is to spin the engine over with the cowl off and watch the gap between the flywheel and the coil.

If the deck got cracked by the blades hitting something they make reinforcement plates for those decks. I was not aware that they were available when my cousin destroyed his cub's spindles on a stump so i hammered and welded little bits of metal and washers to fix his deck. the reinforcement plates would have definitely been a good upgrade.

It's not moist in the bathroom in Carson City, NV for very long. Even if the humidity in the bathroom reaches 100% it's 20% on the other side of the door. In an environment like that the atmosphere sucks up any availible moisture in a matter of munites. In fact you could accidentially drop your entire house into Lake Tahoe and take it out and it'll be BONE dry in a couple of days.

Those engines have a lot of problems. The top cover that holds the crank down loosens up , and the crank itself has counter weights that have bolts that loosen up as well. Mine put a hole in the case, which sucked because it was a beautiful craftsman mower.

My Kohler Courage 20 never blew up, but I couldn't stand listening to it run. It was so loud and clunky. I feel like it is related to the crankshaft balancer assembly. I ended up buying a new 19 hp Briggs engine online. All I had to do was modify the harness. It is so quite and when it idles down I can barley tell it is running.

Rest in peace probably has more to do with the departed’s character not being maligned. And then it was not uncommon in the past for people to be buried alive. “The phrase "rest in peace" originated from the Latin phrase requiescat in pace, which was first written on tombstones before the fifth century. The phrase was a prayer that the deceased's soul would find eternal peace in Heaven.”

I had an issue with my Cub cadet. I would drive it just fine. Next time I drove it I would try to move the throttle it would be stuck tight on low and would not move until I put enough pressure on it then it came apart. thought just a bad cable bought a new OEM one. drove it again put it away, same thing. stuck again. Found out the inside of throttle cable is lined with plastic. The cable ran down under the muffler. It heated up while driving and melted and when I Parked it moved lever to low the plastic solidified locking the cable again. I unhooked the cable and heated the section that goes near the muffler with a torch until the plastic melted away (that cable still has a metal section that surrounds the working inner cable/wire) with the plastic gone it has been working. I also wrapped section with tin foil as a heat shield. Wen through 3 new cables before I figured that out. wow that was long. Love your channel!

Hi Jake & Jenny Those Bolts Are Known To Work Themselves Loose Over Time, You Have An Engine With Very Little Hours On It, So They Should Still Be Tight However, If I Was You Jake I Would Remove The Flywheel And Remove Every Bolt, One At A Time & Put A Small Amount Of Red Lock Tite On Each Bolt & Torque Them To Spec. For Your Own Peace Of Mind Then They Should Not Come Loose.. P.S Now Is The Time To Degrease The Engine Before Doing Any More Work On It. I Always Degrease Them First Before I Do Anything On Them. I Hate Grease 😂😂

Jake let me explain how to dry your hairy self. I also suffer from excessive hairiness and I know the secret. “Predry” yourself with the rag first. Wipe the water off your body and ring the rag out and repeat this a couple times for me it is 3-4 times. Once you get into the habit of doing this you will be able to dry yourself with the towel completely and in a fraction of the time
