The revelation that White wrote the series around Coolidge seems to suggest Tanya's imminent return. No idea how that can be pulled off within a realistic context, but I am sure White has something up his sleeve. Tanya's line in the first series, regarding death as an immersive experience, was predictive of her storyline in series 2. The lotus is a symbol of rebirth, and what the spa lady says to Tanya about being continuously reborn, may prove more than just a throwaway new age line.

It was a mistake to kill off Jennifer Coolidge's character in Season 2. It was her why I signed up for HULU to watch this series and she stole the show like I knew she would. She is so interesting, eccentric, funny, and captivating. Like why would you get rid of the gem that brought interest to the whole series. No one else is as good as her.

Because at the start she says that Death is the one thing she hasn't experienced. It also lets her win against the Greg & The Gays because not only did they die but Greg won't get the money. It also would've been too cool for her to make it out alive. The way she dies is very in character.

Jennifer Coolidge is a giant reason for the White Lotus' success, the second season wouldn't have been interesting without her, none of the characters were really interesting to me in the second season except for Tanya. Coolidge is so unpredictable and idiosyncratic in her acting craft which makes her absolutely unique and extraordinary, she should be in every season of the White Lotus, we don't know for sure that she dies in the end, she could be just unconscious, and she should get many interesting, multidimensional, dramatic roles in Hollywood and elsewhere!
