She historically actually has done a lot for Puerto Rico. Off the top of my head without looking anything up, she raised a ton of $$ with Alex when they had that hurricane. She helped raise $$ for the Pulse night club shooting victims. I remember *she did a freakin triathlon* for charity several years ago. (That was the first thing I ever heard of her doing and that impressed me). Her and Lin Manuel Miranda do a lot of work for the Latin Federation to help Latin people in entertainment. If you actually research she does quite a bit of humanitarian stuff she just doesn’t broadcast it. Im sure there’s more recent stuff just based on her history. But the way people are IF she did show herself doing that stuff people would just say she was doing it for show.

I think part of it was because in a scene of her documentary, she told Ben she was funding it with her money (because she had no backers; no one was interested in "supporting" it). They have rarely shown Jlo over the years in storylines and/or pics spending time with her family, much less her kids, and calling out the lie was my point. ​@@polytasking The ‘bold face lie’ that I referred to had more to do with her cancelling the tour due to her indicating she wanted to spend time with her family/kids, etc. Of course she’s not going to mention it; it’s embarrassing and understandably so, despite everyone (and even her) knowing the truth! However, to reiterate, in part, based on the tabloids and social media, it’s a rarity when they’ve shown or even mention Jlo spending time with her family, much less her kids offstage so, in a sense, there’s the lie! She's gonna need that time to work on her marriage more than anything! And besides, Jlo’s all about attending red carpet events, or anywhere she can be seen, not spending time with her kids, at least not from what’s been reported over the years. As far as the 75% goes, what was that for, one city, maybe two, perhaps? It doesn’t matter because overall, it still wasn’t good enough for them to attempt delivering a performance where the arena would be half or three-quarters full. After all, she’s no Taylor Swift or Beyonce where their tickets are sold out within the hour, IF that long! So, that’s my take on it. And btw, you must be a family member, a die-hard fan, or both. Either way, whatever you are, it’s cool, and when she does decide to put on another show after she gets herself together, I hope you enjoy it! 😉

I am not a Jlo fan. I do however think that a part of low sales is the ECONOMY! I just competed my bills for the month and EVERYTHING HAS INCREASED IN PRICE. I can't imagine any happily married couple renting an additional house, living apart from each other for months and not spending much time together in 2 months just to distract people from the fact that the wife has low ticket sales. That doesn't make logical sense. As a Millennial, I grew up in the Jlo era and I don't know a single person who ever thought of Jlo as their favorite artist, I don't remember anyone saying Jlo's songs were their favorite songs. She made catchy yet somewhat forgettable dance songs. Not to mention her last hit song was prior to 2008 if I'm not mistaken, and how badly she treats people and how unrelatable she is, is now well documented. That type of track record DOES NOT equal $400 concert ticket prices, she bit off much more than she could ever chew and that's the reason she cancelled her tour.

Around 2004, I was in The Grove mall in Los Angeles having dinner with a friend on a patio when all this commotion started: helicopters flying low overhead, secret service-type men in suits quickly walking by as they spoke into discreet microphones, etc. Annoyed, I asked someone at another table if they knew what was going on. They responded that Jlo was doing a concert on an outdoor stage located on the main road of the mall, which looks like Main Street Disneyland. They said she was being flown in by helicopter. I turned to my friend and noted she’s not a huge star and I didn’t get all the protection and general fanfare. To this day, given her mediocrity and less, I still don’t understand it, but I’m glad others are finally beginning to recognize it and reward her with anemic attention and ticket sales. I bet her finances are bleeding out.
