Honestly, I don't think Justin had decent enough source material unless he had more creative control. The book is trash. Colleen Hoover makes abusive men in every book she writes, this is just the only time it's gotten physically abusive and been recognized as abusive rather than dreamy and romantic. The controlling men she has in all her books are garbage and everything she writes is glamorizing abusive behavior. It sounds like he did his best, but the author and Blake trampled the project.

Coming from the perspective as a survivor of DV, I couldn’t agree more. There’s a lot of grooming and love bombing that happens first and the abuse is about control, complete control over the other person. It’s not just about a man being jealous about another man. Abusers are charming and will wear that face in public and usually only lash out at home in private. It amazed me how much it missed the mark in almost every way because the source material was shallow and didn’t understand the dynamics of the abuser and the victim.

Review of It Ends With Us (from a guy's POV): I am a guy and I had never heard of the book before watching the film, which we only went to because the girls in our friend group insisted on it. I must say that I really hope the book is significantly better (as is often the case), because the film was garbage. The acting was bad to mediocre, with only the husband displaying any acting chops. For a movie about domestic violence, its laughable how little screen time was given to the actual issue or message. They would rather cram in the maximum number sex scenes they possibly could. The first half of the movie is just softcore p*rn, and the second half suddenly trauma dumps on you. Blake's character is also insanely naive throughout the film and its honestly annoying. I've known victims of domestic violence and they're often very smart women who cannot escape their abuser due to a plethora of reasons. The film almost paints the victims as naive idiots who make the worst decisions. I've never been a fan of Blake Lively, but I like Ryan Reynolds so I've supported them throughout their careers. However, I feel like we're getting to a point where we're seeing too much of the same from these two and its causing a burnout.

They only care abt money and putting down others. Ryan has found the perfect partner in Blake bcs unlike Scarlet she's not as famous doesn't have a huge fanbase and isn't nearly as talented as her or him( or so he thinks). If he could he would make her stop acting and make her a stay at home mom which he may be trying to by having so many babies but he forgets she's as much of a narcissist as him so she would never stop being a celeb or actress.

A single scene isn’t going to earn Mr. Reynolds any writing credits. You have to write at least 50% of the script in order to gain any kind of credit. There are plenty of writers who are called in to rewrite two or three scenes, or even just write dialogue for certain films, and they don’t receive any credit.
@camichiBichi2 ай бұрын
So, there always only one writer? Since two people can't both write Over 50%
@VideoGameAutopsy2 ай бұрын
@@camichiBichi The guild rules are strange and complicated. If you write the film together, then of course you can get credit. There are times when two writers write two completely different versions of a script and still get credited. Sheldon Turner and Jason Reitman share the credit for writing Up in The Air, even though they didn’t write the film together.

Strengthening products don’t make your hair soft, they make your hair stronger. If you want your hair to feel softer look for products containing amodimethicone, a silicone that doesn’t build up because the ions hold a positive charge. You can find it in drug store lamellar waters and conditioners all the way up to high end and salon only back bar products. 💁🏼♀️

One red flag that I don't think anyone talks about enough is how Blake is cozying up to Colleen. The same Colleen Hoover who writes incest smut and covers up SA allegations against her son and doesn't believe in trigger warnings. Colleen Hoover who writes absolute shit, but whose pockets get lined anyway despite being problematic. That, in itself, is a flaming hot red flag to me that should be very telling of who Blake is as a person. Idc if they're only appearing close because of the movie promos. I can't ever fathom working for and praising someone like that, on screen and very publicly.

This all drama looks like it came from high school drama. The queen bee Blake does a project with Justin. But Blake presented it differently than what it should've been, and Justin did his own presentation. But since Blake is the queen bee, all the popular kids, a.k.a, the actors side with her. And tried to do smear campaign, saying Justin fatshamed Blake when, in fact, he didn't. In the end, everyone else at school, a.k.a, the public and crew, ends up on Justin's side.
