This makes sense in a way - Jennifer Lopez released Waiting For Tonight in 1999 - It is a cover version of the 1997 original released by girl group 3rd Party - In 3rd Party there was a girl called Maria Christensen - Maria Christensen used to be part of the duo Sequal - Sequal released a song in 1988 called Tell Him I Called, which was produced by Stock Aitken Waterman - Stock Aitken Waterman were responsible, among many hits, of Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up *drops mic*
