The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. Oscar, I HAVE actually run across comments of people who doubt it. "Well, I am not sure that he's actually the best in the world, but..." Don't worry, I have yelled at them. I have told them, FIND SOMEBODY WHO DOES IT ALL. Don't you just SAY that you 'don't think he's the best' if you can't actually produce somebody better! Either you SHUT UP, OR you SHOW ME SOMEBODY who 1) sings in AT LEAST SIX octaves AND 2) yodels AND 3) crosses musical genres without difficulty AND 4) can sing in TWELVE languages AND 5) can hold a single note for a minimum of EIGHTEEN seconds AND 6) can have a breath that lasts 25 seconds WITH SEVERAL RUNS in it AND 7) can do a slide from Baritone up into Soprano Operatic head voice AND 8) hit a clean D8 note. Show me somebody who even SAYS they can do ALL OF THAT, AND can prove it ON CAMERA... So far, nobody has replied or tried to take up that challenge. Because there IS NOBODY ELSE who does all of it, or even CLAIMS to. We know that he is UNIQUE in the world (for the moment and the foreseeable future). Remember, this IS a cover of a song; the band is the original band with that song but the original vocalist has passed away. As AWESOME as he was, even he likely could not do everything that Dimash could do and has done. :)

I would love to hear your reaction to Dimash and Li Yugang: Drunken Concubine + Diva Dance. It is an exploration of the difference between western opera techniques and traditional Beijing opera (of which Li is a master and a veteran). Drunken Concubine is s classic piece juxtaposed to Diva Dance (the "impossible song" from the movie Fifth Element of which Dimash is able to perform so well).

For those who like information about Dimas' songs: The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The dead singer (to whom Dimash was a fan) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. Dimash is a gift to humanity from heaven above, he is the ONLY singer on the planet that gives me tears, laughter, shivers, goosebumps, heart and breath stopping everytime I listen to him, he must be an angel as NO singer ever did that to me, he deserves a Grammy, Oscar and many more to come!

I think he has the greatest voice of this generation. His training and professionalism are beyond reproach. He has presence. He has artistry. He uses dynamics like few others do. Of course, DIMASH is Phenomenon! His voice is not from this planet! But l love to watch your reactions!
