She doesn't care....she just gives and then gives even more.....some people would expect to be paid for giving these kind of valuable information......"Jennifer Glazthofer" (in lights)......the vocal coach that keeps on giving and then gives a bit more just to shut up and annoy the takers in life.

Not only is Kelly's amazing vocal talent shining on this song, she wrote the song. Probably created the harmonies as well.

Another on-the-point analysis of these two singers doing their thing. One of the things I like most about your channel is your enthusiasm for what you do. It comes out naturally, never looks fake. Very refreshing. And of course your "right-to-the-point" analyses of what these singers do is always in depth and I always learn a thing or two or hear something I would have missed had you not pointed it out. Love, love, love what you do here, Jen! And to you and your family and friends I wish you all a very Merry Christmas filled with much joy, warmth, laughter, and treasured memories!

Thanks for this beautiful reaction, and most importantly, the stops. They're why we're here. If I just wanted to hear the song or watch the video uninterruptedly, I'd just go to the original, of which you always leave the link in the description for us. Following you over the past year has given me hope that I might learn to sing properly and efficiently one day. And I'm always keeping mental notes of your juicy tips. This is top notch platinum material. Merry Christmas Eve and Christmas proper. May you and your family and friends have the greatest holidays.

I appreciate how much you stopped the song during this one. It’s easy to miss anything in a song with the instrumentation and vocals going so crazy the whole time! And the fact that these 2 got together to sing a duet this insane is absolutely lovely. This sort of thing never happens
@azekel76872 жыл бұрын
It honestly would be nice to sing on the same Level as these 2 Women as a Male👀. Ariana's voice is, high and light, but I personally like Kelly's powerful voice more and sometimes it always sounds as if they're always singing in Chest Voice unless you hear the Flip or Ping which tells you that they're singing in Head Voice because their Mix just sounds so powerful that it fools me, great reaction by the way, don't worry about the pauses because I'm here to learn and enjoy.

I never understand the people who get all worked up over the breaks for analysis. It’s like they just ignore the description. Of course,there are a fair number of people who call themselves “vocal coaches” who may well be decent singers but who clearly don’t understand vocal production. Fortunately, Jennifer is definitely NOT one of those.

Jennifer! Catching up! Still miles to go. 😁 Yes I very much do appreciate all the stops for teaching moments in your videos. Quick story. I was listening to a group perform on the Christmas cruise I went on and one of the female singers was a thin pretty black haired latina who had a very nice lower register. The group featured her on one song where she sung some low notes and her lower register was beautiful and warm and a bit smoky, which was perfect for the group "Golden Soul". I went up at the end of the set and complimented her on her lower register and she smiled in surprise and replied in her Spanish accent ... "you know!" Yes I know a little thanks to Jennifer and I was thankful to you for giving me that knowledge. 😅 Anyway this was a very nice duet with Ariana and Kelly. Some great teaching moments for us. Beautiful performance and an amazing reaction and analysis as always Jennifer. Thank you for all you do! 😊

I agree with the others -- I'm here for your analysis and impressions -- so stop as many times as you want. :-) I also loved when you pronounced the name of the song and changed it to an American pronunciation. He talks about the music on the show, but a lot in this segment about Kelly writing music and taking it to the finished, produced product, which really is amazing. Picks apart individual tracks and really helps understand what effort goes into making a Kelly record.. Video begins at 5:44. m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/eHLKYZdpZq6lg6s

Hi Jennifer, I love your passion, appreciation, and dedication to vocal analysis but I feel you've made a major error in your analysis of this song. Ariana, from beginning to end of this song, is an embellishment only. She throws in thin high notes to brighten the performance but her baseline vocal has far, far, less power and gravitas than the song requires. Kelly's powerful vocal is the backbone of the song and without it Ariana would flounder - and the result would be a thin, inconsistent mix of weak middles and flighty highs resulting is an unsatisfying incomplete product. In general Ariana's only real vocal quality of merit are her high trills & runs - throughout the rest of the song Kelly fills 80% of the space and gives the song the heft it requires. Bottomline is Kelly can (and has) performed this song excellently solo. Ariana could not perform it solo without a bevy of background singers to beef up it's baseline quality. - and even with BGVs it would lack the heft it requires. To make my point compare Arianas original 7 Carats to Kelly Clarksons cover of 7 Carats. Kelly's version is undeniably vastly superior to the Arianas original in every way. Ariana's reputation has been built on her upper range only.. The rest of her vocals are weak, thin, and similar to high school choir vocalists in every high school in America. Ariana is a very good singer but she is miles below Kelly Clarkson overall variety of incredible quantifiable vocal genius.
@weavesnatched7957 Жыл бұрын
i would write a longer comment but i have work to do soon but if you listen to any of ariana’s vocals when singing broadway songs (she was on broadway when she was younger), you will see what an amazing singer she is. i can tell you that nobody in my highschool choir could sing like her bc ariana has mastered her signature belt that is light, has mastered her riffs and runs, and has mastered her falsetto and whistle tones. i think she is incredible! now kelly. kelly is just one of the most amazing singers. i love her and if i could go on and on about her voice for years i would. those belts are out of this world! but i just wanted to give my two cents on ariana! but your opinion is your opinion and i respect it!
@maartenfisher66262 жыл бұрын
still it kinda feels like ariana is holding back to let kelly shine

You are being rude for no reason. There is no issue with the video whatsoever. Alot of things go on when we sing that we aren't knowledgeable about. I sing alot and videos like this are actually very helpful for me and alot of people on here because you know what the star singers are doing, their techniques and you can use them to improve on your self that is one of the reasons alot of us are here. Now, what exactly is your own reason for being here if you don't want to improve anything?
