I love JLo´s version, of course Diana´s amazing, but this is just so soothing, sweet gentle vocals, comforting in a way, her singing sounds very velvety and warm without all the vocal tricks and gymnastics and flying hands other singers do all the time. It made me feel at ease, this may sound weird but it feels like your mother´s sweet singing to get you to stop crying and comfort you to sleep.

@@axkela Thanks for the acknowledgement. I have a huge love for old school music (1920's up to the early 2000's). And I know a tribute and a nod to a late yet incomparable icon when I see it. Secretly has a hint of Dreaming of You by the late and greatly talented Selena as a nod to her. I can tell that the outfit that she wore for that performance is a huge nod to the late and great Billie Holiday. The flower, the dress, everything on her is a nod to Billie. She truly loved gardenias. And the cover is just as amazing as Mrs. Diana Ross's and Madame Mariah Carey's. No comparison or judgement is needed to know that a performance is genuine. And in my opinion, the original and all covers of the song are really wonderful.
