Elizabeth Whiteoak I heard back in the day people were very angry they picked her (a Puerto Rican) over somebody who was Mexican. There apparently was somebody who looked very close to Selena but the problem was she couldn't speak a word of English (no idea if she even acted before). Everyone calmed down when they showed a Pre screening of the movie and were more open to the idea. I believe the movie wouldn't be the way it was if it wasn't for J Lo. It's sad as time passes people don't know this. I think it's amazing how she still reminds / educate people about how she got where she is now.

Jennifer Lopez has earned my respect in the way she made sure the focus was on Selena, particularly at the moment she turned her back when Selena was on the big screen. I remember Selena she was a beautiful young woman was just starting off with her husband and excited about hopefully soon being a mother herself. Yes I did see the movie where Jennifer Lopez played Selena. She did a fantastic job. Just like now, she is making sure she does a fabulous job which she did do. You could see how at times she was holding back tears. I have thought a lot about Sabina often. You have to think how her life was cut so short for no reason but greed. To this day I cannot understand why that woman took this beautiful young woman’s life. God bless her family.🙏🌹❤️ I have to believe she is singing with the Angels❣️
