Home Depot has bigger ladders for about $50. Get the ones with really deep steps, they are a lifesaver for extended ladder work with great balance with less fatigue. I bought a little one for my kitchen too and I love them. Black steps, silver poles. They support your whole foot.

In my opinion I would move the black tub on the floor somewhere else and move the racks over towards the left as need be. Glad you had some folks to help you get everything in and somewhat set up . 👍🏻👍🏻

@Solid Gold You have the racks stacked a bit off. The mid canopy ( being covered ) should go on top and the top one goes in the middle ( where it uses then bottom of the next piece as a cover ). The top has to have a covered canopy to prevent evaporation and heat loss. Good Luck with the project

Shouldn't the spacers be switched because you will be able to see the wall/ceiling through the top aquarium because those spaces are open top and t seems that your current middle spacer has a metal top which would stop that from happening. Happy fish keeping!!

I actually got my tank stand made smaller so I would not need a step ladder to be able to reach in the tank and do things. I outsmarted myself though as I didnt take into consideration the height of the filter I am using so it was a tight squeeze fitting it in the cabinet. I wouldnt want tanks up that high but each to their own, I guess you dont have much choice with what you are doing.

I'm short so i would definitely need a latter and snorkel. I had a hard time in my 125g tank. I couldn't imagine the time and extra cash it take to run that many tanks. Bookshelf latter not a bad idea when done properly actually.

Just curious, but with the plans you made, did you take the frames of the racks into account? I remember helping someone with their replacement shelves for a school library where the new ones were picked by the shelf space rather than the size of the actual units which ended up causing issues in the end.

When I bought my 45 breeder, I was so terrified that it was going to break on transport home, I built a flimsy cardboard box that it could sit in. You just seem so calm and cool with all your tanks. I would probably be having severe anxiety if I ever had something similar to your set up, and I'm just in awe at your composure. Lol I think I'm just rambling now.
