Jennifer, thanks so much for this video. I have a small business at farmers markets selling strained glass items. I’ve been retired for a year, but have been doing the glass for about 15 years…..recently, I asked a friend of a friend who owns a printing shop,if he’d make me two tshirts with my logo and he said sure…..2 months later, I never received them, even though I made him a business card holder in advance for his trouble…anyway, when I asked again about the shirts, he was very rude. So, I bought a circuit and watched your video and now I have 2 awesome tshirts for my show starting soon…..and the ability to do them whenever I want…. Thanks to you, I’m independent once again and have another resource for more things…. You have a very kind heart and may God bless you for this gift to others….

Way to go Bigpapa !!! Men craft too. My hubby of 49+ years married me for my sewing machine. It's been an on going joke in our home that he married me for my sewing machine & car and when asked why I married him...the obvious. He could keep them running of course.We both sew & we both sew from our own made up patterns. He's always scolding me for not making a pattern. I do but half the time I wing it & also been known to sew my pattern if I made it out of fabric. Hey it happens:))) We've made full sized pack tents from the old Frostline Kits in the 70's & even down sleeping bags, my mom's & step dads down jackets. I reciprocated making his parents a fancy Kodiak style down jacket & other items including travel bags. He made his own pattern for a back pack 48 years ago which was a split level & he still uses it today when we hike. At six feet he needed a longer one than any styles or patterns one could find back then. He also had an idea of how he wanted the split style with a rectangle like chamber on the bottom that zips open with #10 YKK tooth nylon zippers & the upper chamber more traditional rounded top tear dropping into the bottom section. Super padded straps & did not forget a hang up strap at the top. I tend to skip patterns & just know how to make what's in my mind & like to think I have influenced his nature to go for that too. Sure once in a while we've had an oops but pretty darn rare. We've managed to aquire a lot of outdoor fabric's such as coated nylons in various styles & types along with hardware. Yes I'm a girl & so need my occasional bling fix. But mostly we go for practical but not always simple designs. I'm watching these videos today as I have a T shirt design for iron on vinyl & maybe iron on gems. "Vaccinated for you" Larger printed work Vaccinated for or 4 then YOU printed into a solid red heart. See the word Craft in the heart above only in my mind it's going to be solid red with the word You in contrast to stand out. Not sure if I'll go with halogram style or rainbow vinyls for words but definitely a solid true red for the heart. However also investigating iron on rhinestones to fill in the heart around the YOU. I own a Pazzle Inspiration similar item as the Cricut which is about a 11 year old earlier model. However I've jumped to using embossing die cutting machines more often. Love alphabets so have collected many which can cut out the vinyls the digitial cutters can. It can be a little more daunting to use transfer tape as it cuts the preapplied transfer right to the items. Also you must insure your dies are facing the right way or your letters will be all goofy. No matter it's all in FUN. with lots of WHIMSY thrown in. Google for Great prices on Hanes and Jerzee and Glidan T's and sweats as she's shown in her video. Lots of shops sell blanks. Love 100% cotton over blends most of the time but not always. Stay safe everyone and Bigpapa you come back and post your own videos soon.

Definitely pre-wash. The manufacturing process leaves "residue" embedded in the fabric, softeners and stiffeners to keep it wrinkle-free during warehousing.

This helped me create a custom hoodie for my work. I work at Honda and we have hoodies with the emblem in the front for sale in the store. Well I dislike front emblems and wanted to create my own with the logo on the back. So I did and your video helped me out a ton! I very much appreciate it

@@JenniferMaker thank you! I gave him his gifts this morning and he thought they were store bought- they looked that good 😄 without you I never would have known about the easy press site you shared or even which way to place the sheet to start with, so thank you 🌈 next up, watching any videos you have on infusible ink so I can improve on my mug making!

Looks great! I wanna try this, too! Has anyone tried the same process on a canvas bag? Does it work just as beautiful?

This video was so incredibly helpful, I learned so much! I have a quick question: how come you can't use a regular ironing board to iron the vinyl onto the shirt?
@JenniferMaker4 жыл бұрын
Good question, Kelly! Because most ironing boards have small holes to let the steam through! Vinyl needs even heat. If you try it on an ironing board, you will end up with either vinyl that doesn't stick properly, or vinyl that has little dimples where it wasn't heated (where the holes are). 😃
