Jennifer, you are such an artist. I know you have a background in engineering which helps, but you also have a great sense of design, color, balance, and creating a focal image. It's harder for some of us than it seems and coming regularly to your videos and blog site keep us inspired and encouraged. I have given up on my Stamp-a-ma-jig, but I will pull it out again and see if I can't conquer it! Thank you for all the work and effort you put into bringing these great videos to us.

GREAT ideas in this video, Jennifer! I don't have a Misti, therefore didn't seriously consider purchasing any layered stamp sets or tonal ink sets. Now ... you've really tempted me! Especially with the multiple-stamping technique to get more shades from the same ink and I still have my Stamp-a-ma-jig. Thank you! ❤️

Time to dust off my old stamp positioner--thanks for the reminder about a great tool! I really struggle with stamp layering and I'm anxious to try this again.

I've been using a stamp positioner since 1992 when I bought the only existing one for sale which was a Stampa Barbara T-square with vellum sheets. I have a Stampamajig now that still works pretty well. Always good to dust off older tools for those who may not have been exposed to them yet.

I could watch this for hours. I can't find anyone in South Africa that makes these type of cards. I was so motivated to give it a go but with our South African Rand that is so weak against the USD, it is just to expensive, especially with shipping that is almost always more than the stamp. So I am living my creativity through you and enjoying it every moment 😁

These cards are truly stunning and you've convinced me to dust off this old tool and even pick up this cool acrylic one by Art Impressions. I have an Art Impressions positioner as well as a MISTI, but for someone who doesn't have either, you can use an L shaped ruler or a corner of a T-Ruler. I bought a nice, metal L-Ruler at my local dollar store a while back, so they can be very inexpensive.

Wait, I'm confused. I think you used the Geometric Frames Die set from Altenew, not the new Crystal Frames Die set. The one you used cuts out a shape, and then cuts a thin border. The new Crystal Frames set has dies that match the Crystal Frames stamps, and they don't come apart. Sorry, not trying to point out mistakes, but I noticed this and thought you'd want to know!
@jennifermcguireink5 жыл бұрын
you are right. i fixed it. thanks for letting me know :) My mistake!
