As with my skincare videos, sharing of my diet and lifestyle is meant for informational/educational/entertainment purposes only. I’ve never claimed nor do I consider myself to be an expert of skincare or nutrition. I simply do independent research on these topics, experiment and determine which habits suit and serve me the best; these habits are what cultivate & maintain the overall lifestyle I desire for myself. Diet and eating habits, especially, are dependent on numerous factors (age, taste/preferences, cost & availability, cultural influences, allergies/food intolerances, personal goals & sustainability, etc.). So while I do appreciate the informative aspect of learning what, why, and how others eat, I don’t believe any of us should take another’s diet in a prescriptive fashion, simply due to the inherent variance with each person’s individual body & specific needs. Enjoy your weekend, everyone. Have a blessed and uneventful weekend, everyone.

Hello :) I have to tell You, that tea is too hot for honey. More than 40 C is destroing all of the benefits from honey, all vitamins, miceroelements, enzyms. A lot of people don't know about it, but overheating honey is unfavorable. Same as adding it into alkaline enviroment like mixing with sugar, sweeteners, flour... The best is eating just from spoon, or with food that have acidic ph. Like fruits, dairy ect. Honey have acid reaction thaht is germicidal and acid food is making it more powerfull :) I'm from Poland and here we have very highly developed knowledge about apitherapy and similar fields, herbal medicine. Here in Bulgaria we prepare some kind of soup made of pork legs ("pacha" in Bulgarian). It's typical winter meal that we consume cold and gelatinous with some finely chopped garlic in it. I was surprised that you drink this broth in the summer, because in my country it is considered as a "heavy" and warming food. We also traditionally eat sauerkraut only in winter time . I'm so happy that you are healthy now!❤

One important note on Vitamin D! When its absorbed, its absorbed with a co transport, with Vitamin K2. Without one or the other, neither is absorbed. Thats why its importsnt to find a supplement of Vitamin D that has K2 in it, or take K2 separately. If one takes high levels of Vit D without K2, not enough K2 will be available to absorb, so vitamin D will be wasted. learned this from a neurologist. I summarized this messily but if you google it there are many sources. :)

My morning is always the same. Fat free Greek yoghurt, granola, no added sugar, and a chopped up banana. Lunch is usually sourdough bread with fresh cooked chicken pieces. Dinner is typically a Chinese stir fry with egg noodles. I work out a lot, so a stir fry typically consists of a good portion of carbs and protein. I do everything to avoid added sugar. It’s shocking how much it’s added to products unless you go whole foods as a method of elimination. You certainly won’t have any issues. Awesome!

@@JenniferMyers I learned in your more recent video that you practice a form of radical acceptance. In a way, stoicism is the antithesis of radical acceptance, and the Buddhism's surrendering to the moment, because it emphasizes willful control as a method of managing desire, unhappiness etc. Although the two philosophies appear on the surface at odds with one another, I dont believe they are at all. It's a balancing act, but I find the most resilient tranquility in putting the two approaches into a natural tension with one another. Much like trees balance rigidity and flexibility as they sway in the wind.

Cold sores are the herpes virus, correct. I’ve had them ever since I was about 3 years old. They break out whenever I’m under extreme stress or am overly exhausted (hence why I experienced a breakout when I was sick with the coronavirus).
