***ATTENTION NEW VIEWERS*** First, follow me on Instagram instagram.com/vongirl24. Second, KZbin has decided to Suggest this video to most of you, which is GREAT and AWESOME, but it's sort of out of sequence from how my videos were originally uploaded back in 2016. If you want to hear about how I got HIV, who gave it to me and more, watch my 1st KZbin video My HIV/AIDS Story: My HIV/AIDS Story: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqTYeXaFor59rsU My HIV/AIDS Story (in pictures): kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJjXkohvfLCBfsk Support: www.jennifervaughan.org/donate Instagram: instagram.com/vongirl24/ Twitter: twitter.com/Vongirl24 Facebook: facebook.com/VonGirl Thank you to “Angels in Disguise” (The Ow Family) for their continued support of my HIV advocacy kzbin.info/www/bejne/oaCQn4l6p9qrlZY I'm happy to be here on KZbin to help people understand what HIV is today, it's not like it was in the 80s/90s. SO much has changed for the better and most are super surprised to hear this information. For example: 1. AIDS is reversible (not HIV - they are 2 separate things) 2. We can have unprotected sex and NOT pass it on to our HIV- partners when we are undetectable (if you are taking meds, you become undetectable quickly) 3. We can have HIV- babies when we are HIV+....easily!! 4. Medication is available and free to low cost in most parts of the world...AND.. 5. The medication is so much better today, the side effects are typically very minimal. Please Comment, Like and SUBSCRIBE! So glad you stumbled onto my channel and found me. XOXO Described are 16 symptoms that I experienced from the time that I contracted HIV (summer of 2013) till my diagnosis on February, 15, 2016 (2.5 years later). Please understand that HIV symptoms are very similar to flu symptoms, other gastrointestinal issues, UTI related issues and more. If you have some of these symptoms, it doesn't necessarily mean you have HIV!! People worry unnecessarily, typically those who have had low risk exposures and they are certain they contracted the virus. There is a lot of unnecessary anxiety related to the fear of HIV. You should TEST if you are concerned.. Get TESTED...Get MEDICATED...Stop the spread

Jennifer Vaughan I’m sorry but I’m extremely confused, how on earth can Aids be reversible?! I’m 40 and lost my daddy Will to Aids 7 months before my 18th birthday, on January 15, 1995 He was in his mid 30’s. I was raised by and around lots of dr’s and nurses, and never have I once heard this anywhere! I’m very intelligent and don’t live under a rock, that’s why I’m baffled at why I’ve never heard about this. What am I missing?
@Pozleigh7 жыл бұрын
The medication today can suppress the virus to undetectable levels which gives the immune system the ability to recover. A CD4 under 200 is considered AIDS because you are more susceptible to opportunistic infections. Once your CD4 goes over 200, your body is more protected and you no longer are considered to have AIDS. I had a CD4 of 84, I'm not around 475. I had AIDS, I don't anymore. And I won't again because I'm taking my ARVs (anti-retrovial meds). Hope that helps and I'm very sorry about your dad. xo
@tinalancaster32277 жыл бұрын
Jennifer Vaughan Thanks for explaining that to me, I was just really confused. And thank u, he was a great guy and he’d planned on marrying the person who gave it to him that’s how serious he at least thought their relationship was. I didn’t find out till my dad got pretty sick that his fiancée found out they had AIDS and was so angry, that they not only gave it to my dad on purpose but cheated on him & gave it to several other people before they died! I still can’t wrap my head around that, that someone could be so cruel. My dad was such a unique person he was the only one who could make me laugh, and not be depressed it’s been 22 years and I haven’t found anyone that could make me laugh like he could. Again thanks for explaining I really appreciate it, I hope u continue to do well. xo

I had similar symptoms.Vomiting, blurred vision, confusion. Dr’s kept sending me home. The symptoms continued, I went to another hospital where I had 5 strokes. The doctors thought it was full blown AIDS though I’m married and haven’t been with anyone but my wife. Turns out it was meningitis that went undiagnosed for a month. After two weeks in ICU and another two weeks in the hospital and the two months so far of rehab I’m back to normal. My point is whether it’s HIV, Meningitis, Cancer, etc. you can be touched. So remember, we’re all human, we all love, we all cry and we all deserve respect. HIV is no longer a death sentence, with today’s treatments the prognosis is a full life. Keep inspiring, Jenny!

Kenz Ra hopefully but we have a fast advancing technology and although there isn't any cure yet for cancer and aids, there has been measures done in the medical field to prolong the survival and of course increase their quality of life. Apart from medicines I really do encourage people to support the HIV positive instead of putting a stigma on it. We just have to increase everyone's awareness regarding the disease to remove the stigma.

Livingwater Freelygiven I don't have aids idiot. I see that's what you are trying to insinuate. I have never had sex or done needles before. I am just here to tell people there is a natural cure. Not all people who have the virus is out there fucking everything that walks or doing drugs. There are people out who thought they were doing the moral thing(sexual abstinence until such time as I choose with another to form a monogamous heterosexual marriage) and still got aids from a partner. I was just diagnosed 2 days ago.. im so scared and devastated 😭 thank you so much for making these videos they give me hope. I have almost all of these symptoms.. never in my life would i have guessed this is whats causing them. My whole body has broke out in rashes including my face. I dont have a bad smell but i do think my sense of smell has increased and smells make me nauseous. And as far as the black discharge, ive had a lot of tiny black scabs come off of me from down there.

I used to be promiscuous in my earlier years. I never really used protection either. I’m actually quite surprised I never acquired HIV. More than likely sheer luck. Now I am in my 40s and for the last 15 years or more I am definitely more careful. I used to work for a medical Lab and we went to one of the largest HIV/AIDS clinic’s here where I live. I could not believe how many people are still being tested positive. It’s so frustrating that we know what we know and people still are Testing positive. I know we’ve made wonderful strides over the last years , but it doesn’t take much to protect ourselves! Thank you for sharing your story. I wish you all of the best

"K Moore" back in the 1980s AIDS was a completely new epidemic. If you think about it, it is amazing that within some 38 years or so (well within one human lifespan) medications were invented to combat the illness and yet there are a few generations of people who take it for granted . People of their parents generation or older brothers' or older sisters' generation were dealing with sure death if they caught it.

Anyone who speaks out to educate others about this horrible disease is a hero in my book. ♡ Bless you. I'm so sure that before I die, we will have this disease beat! I just lost a friend to AIDS, and even though I've known she's had it since I was a kid, it still seems so unreal that she didn't make it out of the hospital this last time. When she got sick, obviously, she'd get really bad and have to go to the hospital and stay, but she always came back out. This went on for so long and now that she didn't do that this last time, it just seems like it's not real. I can't accept it. Weird, because I always knew what could happen, but never prepared for it. I can't wait for this disease to disappear or to have a cure. Every person fighting it is a damn soldier. Fight, fight, fight that bitch and don't let it own YOU. Show it that you're not one to fuck with.

Under what criteria or definition did your friend "Die of AIDS"? There is no standard definition or criteria anywhere in the world that constitutes anyone having "AIDS". Did she just say modern medicine is the only thing that will help her...... wow Jesus is the true Healer maybe that’s why u go through what u go through do you not know He can heal you in a blink of an eye “o ye of little faith” and this has nothing to do with religion but only JESUS . He can heal you but u don’t want it. U rely on man made medicine? U didn’t have to make a comment like that you could of really thought about it and said what do I have to loose... when u even say His name there is power in His name and the Blood He shed for the whole world. But u choose to just not think or get on your knees once and ask Him for healing ask him to forgive you for not seeking Him after all u have been through don’t be stupid. If u call on Him He will answer.. so somehow I don’t know how u have this STD one of the most deadly .. and u choose to not find out or read the Bible/ WORD like you read the meds and find out who this Healer is? Don’t sell yourself short ask for forgiveness because when u fall as dead before Him ( revelations if you want to read that and see the power He has) and He shows you your life in a split second and sees what u did or didn’t do and u can’t say anything.. and He says BE GONE I NEVER KNEW YOU and hands u over to he devil who gave u the disease in the first place because he loves to destroy God’s greatest creation but people blame God all the time but you choose to just act like He does not His healing exist that is mind blowing. Call on JESUS talk with Him and I pray u do so I can say thank you in advance to the Lord for healing you. U think u r smart but u r not look what u have to deal with. Sickness is not of God but JESUS the True Healer will heal you God Bless your soul for The Bible says Do not fear what can kill the body.. but Fear ( yes only thing God said to fear was Him because of things said like what u said) the ONE WHO CAN KILL BOTH BODY AND SOUL”

Jennifer Vaughan and I don’t know why I’m seeing this video of u.. it just popped up but God Bless you and keep I alive long enough to accept JESUS Christ which is the only way to Paradise yes that is Heaven look at you!! How dare u make that comment against HIM THE CREATOR THE ONE WHO KNEW YOU BEFORE YOU WERE EVER IN YOUR MOTHER’S WOMB! Not even a single leaf falls from a tree without Him knowing it He knows your thoughts so LORD SHOW THIS PERSON THIS SOUL THE WAY YES IT IS FREE WILL BUT IF SHE CHOOSES NOT TO SEEK YOU I AM SORRY BECAUSE HELL WAS NOT MADE FOR US BUT FOR THE DEVIL AND THE ANGELS WHO FELL WITH him but Lord show her that she will go there as a lot of others who do not turn from sin and seek YOUR FACE full of glory and beauty and forgiveness but if one chooses to turn from You I weep for their soul

Thank you for sharing your story. I've been living with hiv since 2007. When I found out I had double pneumonia. Then they did a broncoscopy on me. It came back positive for pop pneumonia. I also had t bug thrush. My cd4 was 9. So basically I had no immune system what so ever. As of today 2018 I'm no longer considered having AIDS it's been reverted back to being HIV positive. My CD 4 level is 854 undetectable. But because I'm HIV positive I have chronic pain disease and it's become a whole new ball of wax. In June I've tested type 2 diabetic. I have tremors in my hands and legs, I loose my balance, I've fell down my flight of stairs in my apartment building. I had cat scans done and nothing has shown up. I now need to have my eyes rechecked to see if being diabetic had any effects for the sudden change. I now have psoriasis which I've never had before so it's very possible HIV has something to do with that and chronic pain disease. I had to force myself to retire in April as head chef for a very popular hotel because of the chronic pain disease. I now drive for Lyft and going on disability so my driving will be less. I feel like no matter where I turn I'm being bombarded with crap and it sucks. But I'm trying to make a positive out of a negative if that makes sense.

My oldest son has HIV and he never had any symptoms ever , so weird . When he got diagnosed he knew who it was because he had only been with 1 person . Apparently he had it for 5 years untreated and never knew. He actually found out when he wiped out on his snow board and lacerated his leg and they gave him pain meds. They had to test his liver as well from the meds . The first blood test they offered him to take HIV test. He laughed and did it. We were all shocked because he had this for 5 years and never symptoms. He opted out of any HIV meds,and is still healthy with no symptoms and it's been 3 years now. The only thing he changed in his life is his eating habits. When he gets a flu it goes away. He uses natural immune builders he gets in a natural food store . But no drugs

agreed, i'm no HIV/AIDS expert but how this is caught isn't exactly "clean" either. As far as I know you get it from either sharing used needles (drugs) or through anal sex (I heard that it couldn't be transmitted through vaginal sex) Everytime I hear about HIV or AIDS I immediately think druggy or homosexual so I don't understand that either. tbh no one illness should be more important or less important then the next same goes for the sympathy, all of it is sucks.

@@gilbertbarood5565 If she was tested positive, you need to test every 3months. If you are practicing safe sex now, test yearly or every two years. Depends on your risk factors. No condoms...best to test every 3 months. Use condoms. Better yet, be monogamous and use condoms.
