My brother also died in Majorca in 2009. He was 32. It’s bad enough losing a brother but when it happens on foreign soil it’s even worse. That’s why Stephen’s death affected me particularly. On a side note I bumped into Ronan in London once and he was the politest person ever. He was with his baby, I think Jack who is now grown up.

Oh gosh I don't think I will ever forget when I found out. I have been a fan of Boyzone but esp Steo since I was 5. He was front and center on my wall oeople thought I was strange this little southern girl obsessed with an Irish band. The day he died I was at work and my boyfriend at the time kept trying to get a hold of me, I was in a mtg and my phone kept beeping. My sister was pregnant with her first at the time so I excused myself thinking it was her. I remember it said check your news Steo's dead. I lost it. I ended up going home and I cried the whole way home. I lived with a family at the time and the mom called my mom freaking out. My mom just sat with me on the phone 3,000 mi apart not saying anything just letting me cry. I am not one to get hung up on celebrity's but to this day I still choke up thinking of him and every year light a candle for him. He was my first hero.

+Sam Mack Steo and his mom had a problem ,because of the come out of Steo,they did not talked very long time (10 years )they were not happy that Steo married to Andrew,and Andrew respected the family wishes, because they did not wanted to see him. Steo's mom accused Andrew of the death of his son,hired a private investigator tried to brings him to court,and tried to claim Steo's money to herself.
