When I was with my ex, her brother used to come over and we'd play LAN games all the time. We were playing Unreal Tournament 3 where the announcer shouts out MK like phrases like "Ma ma ma ma Monster Kill kill kill". Regarding folks like me who still say “oriental” The Chinese call Koreans, Japanese and Chinese “dong fang ren”, 东方人 Dong fang ren can be translated “Easterner” but for centuries it is most often translated Oriental. The Chinese do not call themselves Asians because that is offensive. You can not translate Dong Fang Ren as Asian. Asian is 亚洲人, not 东方人 People who still say “Oriental” are being more respectful to the Chinese
