I have others that I watch, when I get the chance, but Jen is the only one that I really trust when it comes to getting the real "story" on whatever product it is and it doesn't matter if it costs $500, $50 or $5! She will tell you if the $5 product worked just as well or even better than the other two or if it worked worst! No matter the cost or the brand of the product; Jen will tell you how it worked for her and how she thinks it might work for someone with a different skin type or any other variation that might make your experience different from hers so you don't waste your money! She also just seems like the sweetest person and that's just my personal observation from watching her now for about 4 to 5 years. So, YES... she's a very classy woman and she seems like the type that would be a great best friend. I'm sure that's why she does well on here (well that and her hard work and commitment to giving us the best content without taking sponsorships!) I didn't mean to make this a thesis (sorry🤪) but I've been sick for quite some time and I've missed quite a few of Jen's show's so maybe I'm getting sentimental from missing them and the meds I'm on. 😵‍💫🤣🤷🏼‍♀️ (I am going to go back and watch them. For the glow recipie drops, if we're putting a product on after sunscreen, how are any skin care benefits getting through? This is why I think skincare in makeup is just a marketing plot to charge more. Makeup goes on top. I already have skincare and if anything too many layers don't play well together.

I spent my career as a beauty professional and have been saying this since the trend began! Also, looking at the ingredients, these skincare ingredients are often very low on the list. Sure, they can technically say they’re in the product, but they would do nothing even if we weren’t layering over sunscreen

Jen would you consider doing a dedicated Laura Geller video using a full face of her products? I know she creates her products for mature skin and I’ve heard so many great reviews on her Balance n Brighten powder foundation, but I’m curious on your thoughts, not sponsored. She has some nice looking cream blush sticks on her website as well as lipsticks and a good mascara. There’s also bronzer, and subtle but illuminating highlighters. I have some of her powder blushes and love them. I think she’s an underrated brand which is why I’m asking you to review her line. 💜

Speaking of really glossy, I recently bought some lip oils off Amazon that are great. Ruby Kisses Hydrating Lip Oil Clear in a 6 pack for $6.99. When you first apply it, there is a light mint scent and very minimal feeling, more like what I get with a medicated chapstick. That dissipates quickly. It generally hangs around for a couple of hours, depending on whether you eat, drink, etc. It goes on great over lipsticks. At that price, I don't care if I need to reapply often! Also, THANK You for the I'm Meme Tone Up Pact - I use it for everything now! It is perfect under my eyes over color correct and concealers. I also use it in my T zone and never need to reapply it. I have dry skin with light oiliness in T zone. I consider it the best purchase so far in 2024!

I LOVE the Lancome foundation stick and the only other one I’ve gotten that I love as much is the Westman Atelier Foundation Stick…it’s more but it’s such a beautiful foundation stick! Super easy, hydrating. To me, it’s more hydrating on my dry skin than the Lancome, but still lasts all day and doesn’t fade away and looks nice on my skin. I LOVE them both equally! If my skin is more dry though, I’ll go for Westman. But both have great coverage, so easy to apply, look nice and natural on the skin. Love them!

Natasha lays her palettes out to make any eye look using all the colors in a row or column together or as quads or six pans, also diagonally. She really puts a lot of thought into,her layouts. One trick I learn from a make up artist is if you want your lip product to look good on your lips regarless of the formula, is to really strech your lips. To make sure that if you have rinkles on your lips, this allows the product to get in and it looks 100 times better. It's always better to apply a lipliner first. It makes for a more define and polish finish on your lips. By the way, I love this new format. Thks Jen

I was amazed that the purple shades actually didn't look purple on Jen; I was skeptical until I saw them on her. I'm also fair and cool toned, but since I'm on a no buy right now (except for replacing mascara), I'm not going to experiment with a purple shade. When I run out of blush, I'll stick with replacing a pink tone because that's a basic color for me. Maybe someday I'll try a purple as a splurge.

Online it looks more like a pink and I wouldn’t have bought it if I saw it there 😂 But I saw it in store and it was a dusty mauve color like I loved in the 90s so I got it and I love it. It’s the Covergirl Outlast All-Day Lip Color with Moisturizing Top Coat. It’s a matte lip with a clear topper. The color is beautiful!

Adding some of the Moira products to my basket. Can you believe I’ve never tried a cream blush, do you set with powder or set your face with powder before applying the cream blush? It depends on the blush...some of them will stay sticky while others leave more of a powder finish. It also depends on your skin type...if you're dry, some of the stickier ones will dry down. In this video, the liquid blushes in the tubes are more dewy but the creams in the compact dry down on me. You can put them over powder, that's usually what I do. :) Just make sure you don't rub them in, I use a patting motion with a brush, sponge or my fingers.

That is a perfect shade match for the Supergoop Tint! I cannot wait to get it. The Alter Ego palette is pretty. I don’t wear pastels but I am slowly getting into them so I think that an economical palette that works well is what I should get. I don’t mind the textured look in the AE pinky/purple shade. I got the LA Girl pastel palette, which is definitely more pigmented than most pastel palettes. But I don’t use pastel palettes that often. BUT I LOVE pastel palettes to use when I need blending shades for darker shades of a similar color. So helpful to get a nice, seamless blend!

The Jane Iredale Lip stain/balm is the very best I have ever found, and have it on subscription. I keep several in several different places. It lasts longer than anything else, and never dries lips out. I find that the red stain translates into a deeper coral which lasts even longer due to intensity.
