CoverGirl Clean Fresh Brow. You reviewed this and didn't like it because it didn't set down as fast as your favorite brow gel - a Too Faced product, I think. However, the TF product has alcohol, and the CoverGirl one doesn't. The CG products works fine for me, and the price was right! Just under $10, I think.

Shut up! Jen!! I clicked on your video first (like I always do!) when I opened KZbin tonight. I had seen the packaging for the new Alter Ego palette, but not the reveal. You're the first creator I've seen talk about it... And I have been saving and strategically buying/accumulating my Ulta points all year in hopes of getting the I Need a Nude palette. (And I still don't have enough points! Ha!) But now you're telling me I can get the Alter Ego dupe for a third of the price?!?! That’s an extremely expensive cost for synthetic brushes imo and financial class so I’m very excited about this dupe for 1/5 the price. Even with BK’s sales I just can’t justify spending that much on brushes. I’m thrilled for those blessed enough to be able to afford them though. I’m very excited for learning of alter ego this morning. 🥳🙏

Elf Soft Glam foundation rocks! My new summer faves: #1 Maybelline Firework mascara- this is a holy grail for me. Checks all the boxes and then some! Peripera Ink Velvet lip tint in Cocoa Nude #29. I have 3 of these and they give the perfect muted soft matte that lasts and lasts. Cocoa nude is the perfect brown for cool skinned fair complexions. Peripera Lip liners- soft, CREAMY and long lasting. I have the color Milky Brown. Just Fabulous!!! Nyx Line Loud lip liner in the color Global Citizen- THE PERFECT cool toned taupey brown lip pencil. I reach for this 1st all the time. Incredible shade and long lasting. Elf Luminous Putty blushes- the shade Maui is perfection. Mario liquid bronzer in Fair, Kosas concealer and Loreal Lumi Le Liquid blush- use on top of Mario liquid bronzer for the perfect summer complexion! Wet N Wild Rose Comfort Lippie- Love all the shade. These lippies MELT on your pout. Love pinks? Then try the shade "Biscotti Mommy." Kiko Milano lipstick and probably more but I've talked too much! I ordered this Alter Ego palette before Noon Central Time (they had it available a little early)...I've never splurged on a ND Palette for myself (bought the I Need A Nude Palette for my daughter last Christmas).....mainly because I'm 60 and I rarely wear shimmers. I've been happy with all the Alter Ego Palettes I've bought in the past and for about $20 bucks, worth it!!!! I bought 4 palettes, total was $87----FOUR PALETTES FOR JUST OVER WHAT ONE ND PALETTE IS!!!! My favorite most recent Target purchases have been the Maybelline Lifter LIner (so creamy), the Revolution Skin Silk Foundation and the Revolution Icon Eyeshadow Palette--The Eternal Icon Green!!! 60, Balanced. Hi Jen I’m extremely cool toned and I love purple or lilac tones in blushes or lip products. Even the counter assistants on makeup counters are amazed by how everything pulls orange on me. As a tip to other people this happens to (apart from buying purple or lilac 😂) is to find a true purple lipstick and blush to use as a mixer- this allows me to use products I already have that aren’t quite the right shade. I have a bright purple lipstick and a blush - the lipstick is from an Italian brand available here in the UK, but there are many brands that make them. I have the made by Mitchell blursh in dairy queen for mixing with liquid and the fenty cream blush in drama class to mix with cream blush. Yes the two blushes are slightly higher in price but they really allow me to use so many other products I already own that they’re worth the money for me. There may well be other brands that make the really true purple needed, but these are the ones that work for me. I mix them on my hand and apply. Best wishes x

What an awesome video Jen! I was on the Alter Ego website today as soon as the palette launched and I picked up the brush set as well. Just over $40 for both with discount code and free shipping ~~~ I am thrilled with that and I can’t wait to get it!!! Speaking of high-end being no better than drugstore~~~ I bought a very popular high-end blush and bronzer not too long ago and when I got them home and tried them they were fine but in my opinion they were no better than some of the drugstore bronzers and blushes that I have. I don’t think I am going to buy anymore high end things unless it is something that I truly think will be worth it.

I love Essence's other powder blushes and these are no exception. I also just ordered their new lipsticks and need to pick up my order, but I also got the 2 shades you have as well as velvet punch. Excited to try them out!

Affordable makeup has gotten really good AND improved their color ranges. But the ND palette looks better. I've tried all the CT blush dupes and haven't found any as good but I gotta try those highlighters and lip liners.
