Sorry for the re-upload! When I posted this video last night, I started getting comments that the foundation looked like a grayish-green color and I hadn't noticed that during editing. I wanted to make sure the colors you're seeing are as accurate as possible, so I deleted the previous video and fixed the color (hopefully it's better!). Thank you for your patience and understanding! 🥰🥰🙏🙏

@jenphelps I think a series titled Month Roundup at the end of each month where you go over the money spent within budget & give ranking of products reviewed within that month is a great idea. Then at end of year do a year end Roundup and rank the 12 month choices.

Jenn.....I was actually having a few dry patches recently and I typically use The Ordinary Glycolic Acid to exfoliate--let me tell, 2 weeks ago I bought the Prequel Multi-acid Milk Peel...holy heck, I saw immediate results. The brand owner recommended shaking it, putting about 8 drops on a cotton round then wipe. NO reaction at all but everything smoothed out nicely after 1 application, after 2 uses, it was perfect. I don't know how but this active literally hydrates my skin as well. I look forward to your foundation round up.

I caved and bought the glimmer drops from Revlon on Amazon in the shade coralocious because I have been wanting the hourglass serum blushes but just don’t have the money to spend on them. The Revlon are a little tricky like I’m sure the hourglass are, and it works best pre blending them with a brush the back of my hand and then talking on the cheeks. The wear beautifully even if not set with a powder. The feel almost like a powder finish. I’m tempted to try the pink shade next

I've really genuinely found that the main difference with high end and drug store is that high end is just a bit harder to fuck up. Something about how they formulate them makes the products light in colour and buildable, so that there is no skipping or patchyness but also no major pigmentation The drug store products require a little bit more work but its because they tend to have more pigment upfront so you have to be careful. Just my own experience, a lot of high end cheek products have nothing of drug store cheek products !

I had worn the Loreal Skin Serum Foundation for several days in a row. It wore great. It only highlights sometimes more isn’t necessarily better. Thank you for showing multiple alternatives! I appreciate your reviews and content!!!

Hi Jen, thanks for the video! It seems very odd that you had a problem with the foundation just on your chin. I have no idea why; maybe the product just doesn't work well over areas of textured skin? Maybe, because it's winter, the skin on your chin is dryer than normal? (Reaching with that one!) I'd like to try this one, but, oddly, the Hourglass website doesn't show an ingredients list for it. So I can't tell if it has added fragrance or fragrant ingredients. I guess I can wait until it's available at Sephora because the Sephora site usually has a complete ingredients list for products.
@Patti-196210 күн бұрын
I hope your son is feeling better! I have one suggestion about your chin.... I had some issues with using the glycolic acid toner, as it was just too strong. It caused my skin to get very dry and textured. When I made the switch to the lactic acid serum 10%, all those issues went away. Lactic acid has a more moisturizing effect on my skin. I know everyone's skin is different, but just in case you want to consider a different serum. This foundation looked so pretty on your skin (although it is a bit pricey!!)
@Crystal013910 күн бұрын
I wonder if that would work for me. I can’t even use glycolic acid 3% on my chin lol. It does same thing in Jen’s video 😩.
@Patti-196210 күн бұрын
@ I had the exact problem you did, except it made my forehead textured. I found that I had to stay completely away from anything with glycolic acid in it. Mandelic acid is also very good for sensitive skin. I’ve learned to be patient, as it may take longer to get the end results I’m looking for, but if I use stronger products for a quicker result my skin reacts terribly!! I’m so glad you were able to figure it all out!! It was hard to see, but Jen’s chin did look very dry and irritated (but of course I’m not a dermatologist!)

I am 64 years old, with blonde hair and blue eyes. I’m cooled toned, but in the summer I do a spray tan. When doing a sunless tanner, do you stay in the cool toned family, and just buy another cooled toned foundation a shade darker, or because your skin is more bronzed, do you now become a warm toned gal? 💃💃Same with eyeshadow. Orange tones bring out blue eyes, but usually orange tones are warm tones. Should I go to a more cool toned palette, even though the warm tone colors make my eyes appear bluer? 🤔 Burgundy is another color eye shadow/eye liner I love. Enjoy all you videos🩷🩷

Undertone and skin overtone ( Foundation shade) are 2 different topics. Usually orange never looks good on cool undertone people and pink is very tricky for warm undertoned ones. If you like how you look in Orange / Mahogany/ Burgundi etc.wear what feels you make happy. It is posible you have an warm undertone and a cool overtone ( foundation shade ). I am warm undertone but my foundations shades are very neutral for example. Each person is special❤
