A lot of people love that Benefit brow product, but in case you don't, the Rare Beauty brow gel is phenomenal! It actually holds and no flaking, not too matte or shiny. I've also seen people say they like the Anastasia brow freeze in the tube. I think the Rare is such a hidden gem. Morgan Turner and the Beautiful & Bothered guys also love it as their faves.

I love all the half magic products I’ve picked up! They’re truly a unique brand with lots of hidden gems! I love the glitter pucks, I’m grabbing the silver one ASAP! Also their Beam Trap Skin illuminating balm is GORGEOUS! It’s not sticky and looks beautiful on the face! Also Jen, I picked up the Kopari oil a while back and I’m loving it, the hydration it gives and makes your skin so soft is amazing, thanks for such awesome recommendations!! Another suggestion for acne prone skin-use a clean pillowcase every night. When my son was a teen I bought a stack of cheap, cotton pillowcases and switched them out consistently. It helped.

I use the Cerave oil cleanser and it does a great job of cleaning off makeup, even stubborn eye makeup. I heard about it from a few dermatologist’s on line. I do double cleanse though, not that I necessarily need to. I use the Neutragena Ultra Gentle foaming cleanser for my second cleanse.

I love the Sephora Collection Colorful Eyeshadows. They're so affordable and they're really pretty on the eyes. When I was around your son's age I had horrible acne. I have oily to acne prone skin and what sucks about it, you'll have to deal with through your adult life.

I just realized my cleanser is almost empty. I think I may try this CeraVe. The Kayali fragrance was a complete blind buy for me. I ordered it the day it launched on Sephora in a full size. I never do that, but it just sounds like something I would love and I absolutely do! I don’t think it’s incredibly long wearing, but it’s longer than some of the Kayali fragrances. I like to layer my fragrances as well. It layers nicely with the EOS Strawberry Dream lotion.

I love Sol de Janeiro #59 and #40. I am so glad they have finally made a shower product of #59. I will definitely give it a try. I also really like the Cereve cleansing oil. I use a makeup remover balm on my eyes, then this on the rest of my face. It's fabulous for removing makeup without over drying your skin. I put it on my face first without adding any water and really move it around my face until I see and feel the makeup starting to emulsion then add a little water and really massage it into my skin. Rinse or remove with a wash cloth!

When I ordered from Ulta, I got an Ulta collection free item and the eyeshadow primer that is in there from Ulta is really good. I use it on my eyelids to cover my purple veins 😅

I love the Cerave Oil Cleanser, I always use it. However I usually do a double cleanse (at the moment I'm using Skin 1004 light centella oil cleanser) first - I find this removes even very stubborn makeup perfect and never dries out my skin! Once a week I use an exfoliating scrub.

I find with the CeraVe cleanser, if I'm removing sunscreen (esp mineral), it doesn't foam well and I end up cleansing twice. I love that cleanser. I still use a balm for any stubborn eye makeup.

I've been using the Ulta Beauty Collection 'Tidal Wave' mascara, it's Waterproof which I normally don't like or use but it makes my lashes look like I'm wearing falsies. Maybe a good replacement for the LRP cleanser could be the Uriage cleansing oil? I have drier sensitive skin with atopic dermatitis and I love this one. It foams up nicely and doesn't strip my skin.

I have been using the Ouai Detox Shampoo this month and love it, I also got the small size for a trip I went on, and now I love it for washing my hair twice a week, my hair does get oily and this really helps keep it under control. I have tried the Too Faced fluff and brow and I noticed the same thing, as the tube gets used up, the remaining formula becomes sticky and goopy. I have been using the Anastasia Brow Freeze gel and like the way it holds my brows and keeps them in place.

Jen, the benefit brow gel is amazing for people like you and I with very little, sparse brows. I do have to fill in the bare spots, I do that after it dries. It does make your brows hard, but they don’t move! I’ve used it for years. What happened to the maybelline brow gel you tried a couple months ago, you compared it to the new Loreal one. I bought the maybelline one because of that video and I love it! Did you forget about it? Or do you not like it anymore?

Brow gel fave: Anastasia brow freeze gel (in the tube). Superb hold plus the applicator as two different sizes brush side and a glass side for lamination. It's SO good.

Oh, I'm not the only one who feels like my favorite items seem to be the products that get discontinued! 😊 The latest victim is Bare Minerals stick foundation/ concealer. It gave a very natural finish, in my opinion. Will be looking for a replacement for it soon.

I posted last week on your FB page that the new Kayali smelled like Boardwalk Delight! The Kayali is heavier IMO. But very similar. Also, 59 is also my favorite SDJ scent. That and 60.

You CAN lock the big pump. Just press, so the dose comes out, hold it and twist it towards when it says close or towards opposite of open and it defaults to 'factory setting'.

I tried doing that but there were times when it didn't lock and would pop back up and then I'd have to pump it again and again and I felt like I was just wasting product. This is so much easier, just twist it and it locks.

I toss most powder products, especially eyeshadow after 5 years. Having to do that Has really slowed me down on purchasing palettes. It's very depressing when you have to declutter or throw out multiple palettes you barely used. I'm leaning much more into buying less since when I have more, I just don't get to use it up like I used to when I only owned one or two quads, one blush & two lippies. It's just too much choice & overwhelming to keep track of since I do not review makeup. ( There are palettes I will hang onto for display/nostagia but won't use) Trying to only buy when I need to restock on an empty (mascara, concealer, brow products) & not try everything on a quest for better or be tempted by what's new & shiny.

I also have stubborn brows and I’ve been using the got2b gel in the little mascara tube and it’s the absolute best. The only comparable one is the new MAC clear one with the flat lime green paddle applicator

Me too I bought that small Quai detox shampoo, when I’m finished I’ll be purchasing the big one, I only use it once a week, it’s so good. That Benefit brow gel is all I’ll use, been using it for years. When I was in Michigan my daughter turned me onto those perfumes, she told me about the Marshmallow one, now I need to get it. I felt the same way about that Cerave oil cleanser, I now use it as a second cleanse. I did buy one of those Maybelline Super Stay Teddy Tint Long Lasting Matte Lip Tints in Petalcore and it does last pretty well, your recommendation was spot on. Can’t wait to try my Bubble products I ordered as well. 🎄❤️

Girl, when I tell you I put together my cart with all my restocks last week to buy this past Sunday when they went on sale, I mean it! 😂 I got my CeraVe Hydrating Miceller Water that I use for eye makeup removal, the CeraVe PM Lightweight Moisturizer (I top the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream with this), the Elf Halo Glow Loose Setting Powder (only thing in my cart not on sale), & I repurchased my beloved Naked 3 palette! I stacked the $10 off $40 with my $11 in Ulta points and paid about $40 😂 Love it when sales and coupons work in my favor! Did I need the Naked 3? No, but it has been stuck in my head for MONTHS so Merry Christmas to me 😂 btw Morgan Turner said the exact same thing about the Too Faced brow gel

Just FYI, I looooooved the Cerave face wash, until I realized that it was irritating my eyes so much they were burning all day. So sad, because I really liked it. I saw comments on other videos that it did the same thing to them too! 😢
