Jens Kruger where have you been all my life. These lessons are just what I've been looking for, thank you

Why I waited until I was 67 to play any musical instrument, much less the banjo, I don't know. As bad as I am, these videos keep me going. It's not always the destination. Most of the time I suck. Then one day, one afternoon, one moment, I play something kinda cool, and it's all worth it. Thanks for doing this.

Jens is a very good teacher and he is an inspiration. I play the piano very well, I play the banjo awful, but with Jens insights and thought I am slowly getting it down. Strangely, I sat down to play some Debusy the other day and I quickly discovered the banjo has made me a better pianist. Go figure. Thank you Jens, you are an inspiration and a great teacher.

Wonderful lesson. I’ve been playing for nearly 6 years , since I watched Jens play a new Sierra on the deering channel. This lesson just breathed some fresh air into my enjoyment and playfulness with the banjo and just listening to the sounds. I’m super grateful for you putting the time in to create great content . I look forward to seeing you next time you are playing in the UK.

Such wonderful inspiration, not encountered before with the same thought process I feel myself in my amature, struggling journey with the banjo. Thankyou Jens.

What incredible advice - just play and enjoy the sounds. This will keep you motivated unlike the drills some instructions insist are the only way to learn an instrument; just fall in love with the sounds and you will be motivated. Can’t agree more. BTW does anyone know the banjo he is playing? It is awesome!
