First center ice goal I saw was Brett Hull blasting one from the red line past Ed Belfour in Chicago Stadium. I want to say it was 90/91 and I remember watching it on the old console TV set in our family room on KPLR. It’s hard to believe that was about 30 years ago.

I thought this meant NHL Center Ice the show, but then I realized Center Ice was the name for the $70 a year deal where you get all the games on TV. Then I finally realized that it simply meant goals scored from center ice. Sometimes you can really make yourself feel stupid
