I've just watched a half dozen different videos to try to learn this and YOURS is by far the best and most clear. Thank you!!

Very precise and clear instructions, explaining the reasons for each. Also for mentioning and showing the projects where each style could be used. Thank you very much.

Thanks for posting! I’ll have to look up how-to next time I need JSSBO, but your explanation about wrapping the long way around before each next stitch helped me remember which way to go long enough to bind off.

Thanks so much for this video. I just bound off the neck stitches for my daughter’s sweater. The neck is a 1x1 rib and I took the easy route and did the bind off as for all knit stitches, I think it looks great and plenty stretchy! :)

Thank you so much for such a clear explanation, taken slowly and filmed very clearly. I have frequently put off doing this bind off as I found most instructions difficult to follow.

Knit: yarn goes to the back of the work, under the needle, over the top of the needle, then back of the work. Purl: yarn comes to the front of the work, under the needle, around over the top of the needle, then to the front again to purl.

I wish I would have watched this BEFORE I bound off the baby sweater I made 😂

The only issue is it looks like this BO edge has a row of eyelet lace, which does not match the CO edge, doing garter st on an afghan. Will have to find something not so lace-like!

you just said your first stitch is a knit stitch, but it's a purl...
