Enjoyed the review. Wanted to thank you for turning me onto Surviveware First Aid kit. Picked one up and it goes with me on every Troop campout.

That exact knife keeps coming up as a suggestion for me on Amazon. I like the looks and love the N690 steel it's made from too. N690's been tough as nails and holds a great edge for me on my camp chopper. Thanks for the look, Bryan. Have a great weekend. PS - If a site has annoying music you can't shut off; right-click on the tab at the top of the window and, depending on which browser you use (Chrome and I think Firefox do, not sure about others), it often gives you the option to "Mute site".

I actually have the cocobolo version in my shopping list on Amazon. Not sure when or even if I'll pull the trigger because I'm trying to save for an LT Wright knife right now, but who knows. Being a knife nut it may still find it's way into my collection. I really do like the look of it. Thanks for showing it to us Bryan!

I noticed your comment I liked it pull the trigger I own a few of their knives this company makes some great knives solid steel the edges hold up fit and finish are great also for what you get for price but there a not a ltwright save for a ltwright it's a knife you can give to son long after your gone then to his son a tool that might save a life someday can't make bad decision with either have fun picking out one

I looked up the N690c steel. It is a newer super steel with good stainless qualities and is said to have superior edge retention . Its tough and hard. It is harder to sharpen than 440 but will hold the edge. As such the price is pretty good. You would pay that or more for a 1095 steel blade with micarta scales. From where I sit its a bargain. This steel is comparable to Vg10, but most ofter compared to 440c.

@@tomrobison9690 I know about how the youtubers can keep the knives because I've talked to quite a few of the youtubers on Instagram, because I'm active in the knife hobby community. Once in awhile a company will send a very expensive knife to a reviewer, and make them send it back because it's such an expensive one, but most of the time, they are allowed to keep it.

Let's not forget the Boker Arbolito line. They are made in Spain as well. I agree, they do make some of the best knives, at least in their price range. You can do better, at from a materials standpoint anyway, if you're willing to shell out another hundred or two on top of the price of these, but not everyone can or is willing to spend $250-$350 for a knife. These Spanish knives are a great value. Good quality at a reasonable price! I also like the fact they aren't made in China. Although there are now some very good knives coming out of China, I choose not to support the oppressive and intellectual property thieving communist regime. Their track record on human rights is appalling.

Nice video 🖖 Some people accept knife as a payment and getting stuff for free is a type of payment, you can search for excuses, like you want but that's the truth. 🙄 In past times it was normal be paid with stuff instead this days with fake federal money. I have no problem with people getting stuff for free but with people they are making than stuff looking better as they are, like fanboys, fangirls, doing it this days. honesty is more important than anything else for me and many other people and the honest people get the most loyal subscribers 🖖 Nice knife 🖖

I would bet our ancestors did the best they could with the tools they had available. We have better material and stronger construction methods than our ancestors. Many modern knives ARE designed to be able to baton the blade. And I have also heard of some “ancestral” cultures which did use the technique for certain tasks.

Still with the ignorant remark of "those of you stuck with the old metric system" ?!?! I wonder how many other odd things you say in your videos. Ok, again, and I think this is the fourth time I say this, there are only three countries in the world - the U.S., Liberia, and Myanmar - still stick to the imperial system, which uses distances, weight, height or area measurements that can ultimately be traced back to body parts or everyday items. Other than in the metric system these units are not easily divisible in parts of hundreds or thousands and are therefore thought to be inferior to those in the metric system by some. Critics of the metric system which was created for easy reference are just hard-headed fools. The U.S. is the only real stronghold of the imperial system in the world to-date. There you have it, it's your choice to keep saying that ignorant remark and it doesn't make you look good or wise.
