'Jeopardy' Contestant Left Playing Solo in Bizarre Moment

There was 41 correct responses between the three with 7 clues remaining on the boards when time ran out. Stephanie had 11 correct and 8 wrong while Brad had 8 correct, 1 Daily Double correct, and 5 wrong. Brad had just went into the negative on the question before the last.

Oh Man! This girl had a chance to make history on Jeopardy by creating the first Jeopardy STALEMATE under Alex Trebek. The girl should have bet everything on the Daily Double and force herself in the Red. Do you know what that means. It means that there would be NO Final Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune would come on 10 minutes early. Instead, the girl won only to be beaten the next day or so and become a forgotten champ. But, she could have been the first contestant in Jeopardy History to create a STALEMATE.

Well, to be able to play Final Jeopardy!, you need a score so you can wager. If you’re in the red, you have nothing to wager, thus disqualifying you from the Final Jeopardy round
