They wont do it, it is too complex and mojang wants simple not too crazy designs, like the new village designs. They went for better yet still simple designs because they want the player to be creative.

I am taking on this task as well but I have a different approach. 1. Find a mansion. 2. Re do the inside. 3. Use the flat roof to make a village. 4. Decorate to inside. 5. Decorate to top floors roof. My mansion was half way under ground and surrounded by the roofed forest so I did not focus on the outside. (The main entrance is also underground.) It is fun yet I can't wait for step 2 to be compete.

There's actually a reason for why the buildings are basic. Essentially, when you give the players an option to randomly get the opportunity for living in a beautiful house, it doesn't force them to create their own houses. Basic buildings mean players have an incentive for building better structures.
