It's a fantastic channel.....we are in the process of purchasing our land to homestead. It's been years in the making and as Jess always says we have been "using our waiting room as a classroom". I have sent your channel info to my son who will be building our infrastructure. It's invaluable info and we much appreciate it. All our blessings to you for your success and much appreciation for your "mentoring"!

I’m also just a get it done type person. I recently have started my own business. Custom Tshirts for adults and children, tumblers and such. I had no idea how stressful it would be. And honestly once I started pumping out the money for everything, I started to really step back and start questioning, stressing and overthinking about how much there was to do and be responsible for. It hit me like a ton of bricks. I understand this completely. I’ve been watching Jess for years, usually as a silent watcher, but I’ve tried to leave positive comments when I feel needed. You two are such a power couple. You are a wonderful human being who I’ve seen support your wife in so many different ways through different stages of y’all’s life. Anything you have on your heart to do is there for a reason. Our souls know what we need. Isn’t it funny how sometimes we fight it? Whats for our most good? Even when we know we are doing it. I’ve had to take a step back and not put so much pressure on myself. I hope you are able to do the same. I’ll always be over here in Washington state, rooting for both you and your wonderful wife. I just love how when she talks about what she’s passionate about, you can see her happiness radiate through her. Just a beautiful soul. Bless you both 🤍🙌🏻 YOUVE GOT THIS!!!

I’d really like to know when you choose hot wire, when nets, the costs, and why you choose one of the other. I’m getting closer to deciding to farrow, but I’m stuck on this expensive decision! Thanks Miah. (My mom is excited for the shop!). And the project list should be a bi monthly vlog like the garden tour!!! Every shop or farm keeps a project list! I’d love that kind of video on the regular!!!

Looking forward to the journey! They say the hardest part is the decision to take that first step. Sometimes that's true. But i find that a lot of how-to videos leave out little details and fundamentals that are taken for granted. It would be interesting to see how Miah supervises and oversees contractors to get the best out of contractor staff esp when hiring out projects that are outside his skill set. Especially when you're starting Homesteading, I imagine there's a lot of projects that ppl don't have the time or skill to learn right when you need them. I think that's an interesting video to watch and a lot of homesteaders would benefit from seeing a perspective on that.

How exciting Miah! My old Pastor used to say “blessed are the flexible, they May bend but will not be broken!” My boys had a tree house about 1/4 the size of the shark tank, it was the place to be every day for many years! My only chicken coop I ever used was a dog kennel attached to our garage/ workshop! It was easy to cover with netting to keep flying predators out and give the birds a warm place in our very long winters! Our barn/workshop was built in the 1880’s Timber frame, 2 story with a wood floor! Still pretty sturdy! Looking forward to all you have planned! 👍🤗

Your honesty is awesome, and I totally get your wariness of starting your own channel. With exposure comes the risk of thousands of people possibly criticizing your projects, the way you work, and everything you stand for. It can be super hard, and no one wants to grow to slowly resent the things that made them happy (like helping strangers on a KZbin channel). I hope you find only joy in your channel, and remember that you're knowledgeable, awesome, and you deserve to put all the content on here even if someone disagrees with something (and there's always those people 🤣). Much love to you guys!!

I have a lovely journal book that I'm going to use to pen "The Conquest of Challenges!" I'm excited with what you will continue to bring to the KZbin Table! God Bless!

Congratulations on your new channel, Miah!! As if you were not busy enough, right?? But everyone will be able to learn SO much from you by watching you and your process. Thank you for taking the time to share!! A couple of suggestions to protect the beautiful new mosaic table ... There is a pourable clear acrylic that you could pour over the entire table top, like you have seen in restaurants or bar tops. Easy to clean off. Or, there is a plastic (it comes in different mil thicknesses, buy it by the yard) material you get from a fabric store, that would protect the table top, you wipe it clean, and once it is worn, you buy another few yards and you're good to go! Take it off as you want!! Good luck with all your projects. Wish there was more time in the day to do all the ones I want to do 😂 ! Have a great day!!!
