Don’t get me wrong, because I loved TopGear, and I thought that it was a sad day when he/they left the program, and I haven’t watched it since, because I don’t particularly like cars, but I enjoyed his style, and the things that they got up to…….. But, only an idiot of the lowest IQ, could possibly think that a pond for trout, which will need to be constantly restocked with fish, is in any way re-wilding, but nobody in their right mind would ever truly consider jezza to be anything other than a practical imbecile(which is obvious when you see him with tools in his hands, or even if you just hear his thought processes, when he’s trying to mend/do anything)………… He is incredibly lucky though, because, if it wasn’t for TopGear and his inimitable style of talking about cars and bullshit, then he would just be like all of the other hacks in Fleet Street………

I know we all want season 2, tomorrow if possible. However crops take a really long time to grow. Season 1 took a year to film and so did this season, they started filling last July or August I can't remember and they just now finished filming a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately, and please don't shoot the messenger here, but Jezza himself said "it should be edited and ready to go early in the new year." It's upsetting lads but maybe on the positive side of things, maybe this season will have quite a few more episodes than the first season. Everything was in full lock down for part of season one so hopefully there's a lot more footage for this season.

And I am curious how many walls there are left that haven't fallen to the mighty Lambo 😏 Seriously though, I loved how passionate J got about farming and how important it is. I live in Canada, and our idiot PM is going to same route as Rutte. The agricultural industry will be decimated, and it could be that this show can educate people about how important farms really are. I hope you make 20 seasons, I will watch every one of them several times over. :)

we had a fish farm in hawaiii on the big island... i think we had our pearl farm office there too.. i cant remember..we ran airlines and ended up running a 100 other businesses.. everything in hawaii was always going bankrupt and we had to buy them to keep them open for our tourists.. anyway, we raised moi moi, i think thats what it was called.. a salt water trout.. we raised about a tonne a day for the local restaurants..and something called amber jack, which was quite larger..

I don't feel like it's ever intended to be profitable in its own right, the whole idea is of Jeremy - funded if not by the show by his own fortune - trying out a different way of life, learning, challenging himself. Even if it weren't a show, it's more a hobby for him than actually attempting to earn serious money. Likewise I doubt any real farmer would spread themselves so thin over so many different crops and products, they'd just focus on one thing and do it on a larger scale. Jeremy is more wanting to try his hand at all manner of things than to do one thing efficiently or profitably.

For some reason that feels more like a Hammond solution. But The Orangutan certainly did stuff like that as well. This show is all about his adventures learning to not be The Orangutan but actually a competent - and at times even empathetic and thoughtful - farmer. Something he's done surprisingly well with actually.

Honestly, that box he put those trout in probably has more 02 than that pond, trout are pretty finicky on water temp,quality and 02 being right, more suitable for catfish or carp.

You can go to an aquarium shop and pick up an air pump that charges in your car and will keep air going into the trout container while you drive.

Jeremy you need some catfish catfish and other bottom feeders to get rid of the algae and you need some water plants to help get rid of the algae Partially what would help is some Lily pads because the full sun on your lake is causing the algae to Bloom too much Also may I suggest a solar filter where it will take the water up the hill and then bring it down a bring it down a Brook lined with stones or something to help airate the water for the fish You're a hoot and I love your wife ... love your wife :) Here's some more suggestions perhaps you should give them to her? Put some trout in there and bass... Good luck

As regards oxygenated water passing air through it is sufficient using an aerating stone or several obtained from an aquarium shop, powered by a 12 volt tyre inflator/ compressor.
