What a legend... I heard this just after my birthday this year. I thought that 'I know it's in there, get it out' was about living up to your own potential. Glad to hear it's actual meaning, I prefer it! Such a sensitive time, birthdays and getting older... thanks so much for the share X

Your music is like soul life lessons wrapped up in music and words that just hit you where the heart is - so you end up signing along and moving the lessons into you while we enjoy your incredible talent. Thank you for YOU - such a blessing to this world

Awesome there's a behind the lyrics! It is so, so hard to stop believing what you've been told, especially when "they" are family and not really too happy about your existence. I hope I'll manage to tear down these walls cause this led me to live a life that involves too much loneliness and suffering. Thank you so much for bringing up the trauma part. It's not really talked about that much, but quite a heavy load to carry.

My favourite song on my favourite album for 2022. JL, you need to tour Australia again - you have a LOT of fans here! (Hollow Coves could tour with you!)

*mwah!* chefs kiss sir! Another absolutely excellent song. Its fascinating to hear the explanation of the lyrics. And well, apart from loving the whole song, I think the bridge speaks to me most, "its not about what they told you, its about how you feel..." that whole section feel so true to me. I can't wait to hear the rest of your new album!

I think my favorite is "if you need a hand, you can cry on my shoulder" because that is something I always aspire to provide for my friends, to be the person they can come to to cry or talk, you know?

"Tearing down and building at the same time" its like being honest kind and truely unapologetically you/yourself. Thank you🌻

Interesting. My names Jeremy I'm a loop artist. I can see the music formula leading you to a path within. It's hard to kick the formula the deeper you go. But the more you converse with yourself the less you feel the need to be artist that sells music. It's crazy but genius so don't stop.
