I'm sooo' glad you jumped immediately at the beginning on the minor differences between the eight in one vs. the ten in one version. That sixty to eighty dollar difference is considerable knowing the other two "extra" features are irrelevant for my personal usage. I'm definitely going to Walmart this morning and pick this one up.

I bought the Foodi oven last week and can’t bring myself to cook fresh wings in it because I would feel horrible getting it dirty from grease spatter. That said I’m sure my 17 yr old son will soon make it messy and then I’ll get buck wild and cook everything under the sun in it. My first meal I cooked in it was a 4 1/2 lb prime rib and it was simply perfect! Thank you for producing this video Sir!!!

Your review is great and your voice is so soothing and I appreciate that! You did an excellent job with this. Usually people get too personal. What is the clean up like on this product? Is it just the racks/trays. I avoid the kitchen at all costs. I use the microwave alot. Food splatters. Is there any when using the Ninja? Thank you for the demonstration.

Great review of this product. Been thinking about getting one. Love the idea of the D201 or D251 with the probe but not sure I would use those extra two features. Might save myself a few bucks and get the 8 in 1 model from Walmart. Thank you.

I followed the link and the WalMart version is up to $249 now while the full blown version is only $50 more over at Amazon. Correct me if I am wrong but it looks like the Amazon version also includes a meat thermometer that turns the unit off after the desired temperature is reached.

I decided to do as you did and just purchased one of these BUT I do wish I'd know that the DT200 Version not only has the differences you brought to our attention but MINE is like 17"s Wide instead of 20"----IF I'd known that I may have waited for a deal on one of the other models.

I have the 1-8 functions from Walmart. It didn’t have the splash guard on the fan. I find the stated temperature are not correct. Baking even after 30 minutes, it only reached 320 not 350. Also Air fry didn’t get to 390 after 20 minutes. I put a oven thermometer in the middle of the oven. Have you verified the temperature in the preprogrammed functions.

The DT251 Model has the meat probe. Their hard to find; on BlackFriday I had to called Ninja.

I will get one of these air frying ovens but I will be getting one with a rotisserie function as it makes sense to me to get a machine with a function that none of my other appliances have.

What did you end up getting? I had the same thoughts but was then convinced the convection cooking will rotate the heat vs the rotisserie turning the food.

Does this Walmart version have the same interior dimensions as the 2 higher priced models? Also, do all the 8 functions that the Walmart version has operate the same with the same range of times and temperatures and fan speeds as the 2 more expensive models. Does it have the same wattage as the other 2 models? In other words, is it identical to the 2 more expensive models except for the 2 missing functions?

so what were your impressions of the oven itself? I know it made decent chicken wings, but what about the loud sound during preheat? Did it continue while they were cooking? Did the outside get dangerously hot while cooking, etc... ? I could have done without the commercial for BBQ seasoning to hear your impressions of how the unit worked...

It does beep when it's done. The noise level depends on which mode you're using. The fan is the loudest and most powerful on the air fryer setting. It's much more quiet on other settings such as bake.
