Unfortunately it gets dirty and is hard to clean. I appreciate you making this video as my wife has been complaining she can't get the oven clean. Hi Samuel! Boy, you are a great husband. This method worked well for me as you can see, my oven was dirty and it was still not 100 percent but much better than before. Use just a little less soap to make it easier to clean out. All and all it worked well. Let me know how your oven comes out.

You use a sponge with water and go to town with it comes right off.
@LotsOfBologna2 Жыл бұрын
You can clean the heating elements and the guards the exact same as everything else. What I did after I finished scrubbing everything (including all the heating elements) was a couple minutes air fry on low temperature with nothing in the oven (I did 300). That intake fan running full power will clean out any gunk you accidently got in the fan or back parts you can't get to (it will end up inside the oven in the back corners so you have to wipe it off) Then the heating rods will turn the baking soda into semi-hard crumbs that fall right off when running a damp paper towel into that tiny space between the guards and the rods. So yeah, just clean everything and run the oven empty for a few minutes to help you finish up.

Brillo/brush needs to be some what soft. Steel wool or hard scrub pad/brush can scratch up the oven. Just warning yall. A sponge with the scrub side (softened or slightly used) and a toothbrush is best. Also if you allow the "paste" to sit few hours or overnight, the built up grease comes off easier.

I understand that but if you tried my method and it's not better, than try using the pink stuff amzn.to/3KU4yW6 That's my link. I did use some on the oven before it did cut the grease too. I used the paste but you can try the spray too. Give it a try before you buy a new one especially if it's still working. I really love that oven. 🥰🥰

Using all that liquid in an electrical appliance is a bad idea especially the vinegar which is an acid and will eat the parts inside the oven where you can't get at to wipe it out like around the fan and the electrical connections inside the walls of the oven. Next time try a Mr Clean magic eraser or cloths it is a lot easier, damp wipe after using.

Extremely bad idea! Now I can't get rid of baking soda after each time I run the air fryer, it's flying as snow all over the toaster! Basically I have to throw in the trash my old toster and get a new one! This advice costed me $200!

So sorry it didn't work out for you.

They need a better coating in the oven. I loved mine but I gave it to my daughter. The cleaning is a bad thing.

Do you also put it on for an hour or so to make it dry everything and disinfect everything?
@StephaniesKitchen2 жыл бұрын
Hi Sasha I put it on and let it sit to give it a chance to work. I would let it sit at least 10 to 15 minutes. Happy Thanksgiving 😍😍

@@StephaniesKitchen thankyou for your video. I have an aldi air fryer oven and it's so difficult to clean. I am considering getting the ninja foodi xl I like the fact that it's bigger and it will most likely be alot easier to clean cause the elements at the bottom are higher than the one I have. I've had about 6 to 7 different airfryers, 3 out of them being oven style and I prefer the oven style cause you can cook more at once. What are your opinion on the foodi xl? Have you got a review video??

@@sburns834 Hi Sarah! I believe I did do a review on most the Ninja's that I have. It's funny, they almost all are called Foodies. LOL!! But the Ninja XL Oven is a great oven. We use it all the time for both air frying and baking or what ever I would use a small oven for. I like the size especially as an oven because it doesn't heat the whole house up when you turn it on. My favorite Ninjas are the XL Oven, the XL Grill and the new Speedi. I'm loving the Speedi. I will be making more videos on the Speedi soon. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season.

This is a design issue in my opinion if they had used a ceramic coating inside the oven if would have made things a whole lot easier

Disappointing when I see people who want to believe that somehow vinegar and baking soda can help clean anything. Sorry, vinegar is an acid, and baking soda is a base, alkaline. When they meet, the first thing they do is equalize the -pH or the vinegar with the +pH of the baking soda. The bubbles are simply excess C02 released. The results is a basically a water solution either very weakly acidic or alkaline depending upon which there was more of. I have to go clean my XL grill, and a simple brillo pad with a baking soda paste will work much, much better as alkalines breakdown greases much more than acids, unless you want to use a much, much stronger acid. You probably don't.
