5:50 what Jeremy said here is what I have come to the conclusion for a few years now regarding the impact of the arts and entertainment on society. The argument of "its just a movie" or "it's not real life" just doesn't hold up. We absorb what we expose ourselves to. Whether we absorb a lot or a little, we squeeze it out through our actions and words, and those words and actions have an effect on society as a whole, regardless if the message is positive or negative.

it amazes me how selective trump supporters are with Donald Trump. The man can say the most outlandish things and it’s never what he really meant. Also you’ll never get a straight answer from them either. I used to work with a guy who supported trump and every now and again I’d ask him “how’s trump doing” and he’d respond “better then Hillary would have”. It’s never a straight answer and it’s always about someone or something else. Even if you press them it’s made up shit. Like he improved the economy even though he hasn’t even been in office long enough to effect positive change on the economy. Also you can show them a video of an actual self proclaimed neo nazi and holocaust denier saying that trump emboldened him to embrace who he was and you still get nothing but “whatabout” from them.

james d And other people always talk about him being a racist or a nazi, not giving a shit about minorities, hating ALL Mexicans, and that everything good that has happened recently has been because of obama. Because that's what the media shows because it fuels hate and emotion, which is what the leftist party is all about now, and gets more clicks. Now there's no point in showing whatever good he's done.
