True. Why did Democrats steal the Indian lands & lead the trail of tears? Why did Democrats fight for slavery & lose the Civil War? Why did democrats export eugenic bigotry to Germany, Japan & Italy from the California Eugenics Institute? Why did the Democrats create the Klu Klux Klan? Why did the democrats create Jim Crowe & support it until the 1970's? Why do democrats always forget they are and always have been a bunch of disgusting bigots? is it willful negligence or moral corruption?

Drama-comedy is my new favourite genre. This movie was really heavy and the tension was insane throughout, the comedy sprinkled in at the right time lifts the whole dramatic experience. I also love the big short and good will hunting, great use of humour.

5:50 what Jeremy said here is what I have come to the conclusion for a few years now regarding the impact of the arts and entertainment on society. The argument of "its just a movie" or "it's not real life" just doesn't hold up. We absorb what we expose ourselves to. Whether we absorb a lot or a little, we squeeze it out through our actions and words, and those words and actions have an effect on society as a whole, regardless if the message is positive or negative.

Let's face it, if he said that, people would still jump on his back and say that he's hiding something if he needed to disavow them. Like when people think that someone is gay because he is so aggressively trying not to seem gay. Projection.

Of all my friends (no matter their race) who smoke cigarettes about 90% of them smoke Newports. i still know the average stereotypical idiot thinks Newports are what only black people smoke. i can both recognize it as a stereotype AND still know that it's not true. True story: Why did Democrats steal the Indian lands & lead the trail of tears? Why did Democrats fight for slavery & lose the Civil War? Why did democrats export eugenic bigotry to Germany, Japan & Italy from the California Eugenics Institute? Why did the Democrats create the Klu Klux Klan? Why did the democrats create Jim Crowe & support it until the 1970's? Why do democrats always forget they are and always have been a bunch of disgusting bigots? is it willful negligence or moral corruption?

it amazes me how selective trump supporters are with Donald Trump. The man can say the most outlandish things and it’s never what he really meant. Also you’ll never get a straight answer from them either. I used to work with a guy who supported trump and every now and again I’d ask him “how’s trump doing” and he’d respond “better then Hillary would have”. It’s never a straight answer and it’s always about someone or something else. Even if you press them it’s made up shit. Like he improved the economy even though he hasn’t even been in office long enough to effect positive change on the economy. Also you can show them a video of an actual self proclaimed neo nazi and holocaust denier saying that trump emboldened him to embrace who he was and you still get nothing but “whatabout” from them.
