I second your opinion on book 1. Been hooping in two different colorways for about 20 hours. Stable and responsive. Not bouncy for athletes but great for shooters. Had some of my best shooting performances in book 1.

I recently coped the AE 1s and the JA 1s. AE is a 8/10 only cause the stitching on top the mid foot bites into my foot. :( but other than that? Shoe is A1. Real comfortable and i feel good (hooping) in them. The flexibility is cool. I even put in some insoles and they still were good. The laces can be aggravated so i have to double knot but again the shoe is fire i feel like the low is where it could be at. The JA 1s… they a 6.5-7/10 for me. The color scheme is dope (i have the half and half ones) the grip is crazy and the initial feel is good. But my problem is when i first hooped in em they are so stiff.. my arches was on fire after a few down and backs. The synthetic mesh on the toe bubbles up when breaking then in too. (I do hard folds to shoes that are stiff, like fold the toe to the heel 😂) i currently hooping in them to get more love to em. I dropped in an insole so it’s kinda helping but ima swap to my old ones and update yall. Again the grip is good on a clean court.

I just to wanted to share my experience about the SPO 1 . I just try the Explosive midsole, and the feelings of this drop-in is crazy. There are a little bit of bounce back but in comfort wise is extremely good, also low to the ground court feels and nice bounce and mushy in the heels. And I would prefer this drop-in more to other brand including their drop in midsoles. Disclaimer: My opinion.

The Sabrina 2s are nice but wouldnt be the first shoe I pick up. The AE1 is solid but hella heavy. The AE1 lows are a little lighter but still heavy. Shoe you didnt mention is the GT Cut 3... Those are great hooping shoes and you can find them fairly cheap.
