Is King Charles wrong to snub Prince Harry? Feat. Jemma Forte & Carole Malone | Jeremy Vine

The Duke of Sussex landed in London on Tuesday to celebrate ten years of the Invictus Games, and was keen to meet up with his father.
But apparently The King just doesn't have enough free time. Harry hasn't seen his dad since February when Charles was diagnosed with cancer.
A spokesperson for Prince Harry said: “In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the Duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme.
“The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”
The Palace has highlighted the King's "busy" diary this week with little room to change plans.
The King will attend the Buckingham Palace Garden Party which he opens today. He has his audience with Rishi Sunak this afternoon.
On top of that he's continuing his cancer treatment.
Should King Charles make seeing his son the priority?

Even Diana said Charles was a great father. You’d think people with the time to call into chat shows would be informed about topics that have been public knowledge for over 20 years. . Harry didn’t have to walk behind Diana’s coffin. It is traditional for princes to so and Harry’s grandfather, Philip, counseled that he may regret it if he did not, but he was not forced. At sixteen, Prince Philip walked behind his sister’s coffin (his pregnant sister, her husband and children died in a plane crash) in her public funeral surrounded by prominent Nazi’s. Considering Philip’s mother was torn from him and forced into an insane asylum & his father abandoned him as a small child, and he was shuffled between foreign relations and boarding school, I’m sure Philip though he was making a reasonable suggestion based on his own life experiences (as we all do).

But Meghan made demands wanting to be on the call and speak with King Charles who DID NOT want to speak with Meghan. So she did not allow the call to take place as her demands were not met. I don’t judge a parent who has said “enough” to a child. I had to do it and as painful as it is, I’ve done my very best and we have each gone on to enjoy our lives with mutual respect for each other’s choices. Harry was in the UK because of the Invictus games 10th anniversary. Meeting with his father was secondary. I think this meeting was built up to be more than it could possible be because of the rift. There is never going to be the perfect time to say hello, how are you doing and let me show you pictures of the kids etc. However, you have to start somewhere? If Harry didnt love his Dad, he wouldnt have made the effort. Also, there is no guarantee that if Harry had missed Archie's birthday again and come 2 days earlier that Charles would have found 30 minutes to meet with Harry. How is Harry visiting the UK for business going against the royal family? Do they want Harry to move his businesses to the US and for him and Meghan to stop helping the UK patronages and charities that they support. Harry is a better person than me. If my father had had my top level security removed, intentionally scheduled his cornation on my son's birthday, evicted me from the English residence that I had paid $3 mil to renovate for my family and then after taking away my residence, repeatedly denied me a room to stay, I dont think I would be trying to reconcile. Also, everyone knew that when Charles intentionally scheduled a garden party on the same day and at almost the same time as the Invictus games 10th anniversary ceremony that he wasnt going to have time to meet with Harry.
